Hi friends and happy Wednesday! Do any of you have any fun holiday parties coming up? I have been sharing a lot of fun party looks but for those of you interested I wanted to share my Holiday makeup look too. Recently I found the most amazing foundation from Giorgio Armani and am obsessed. I picked up a few other products from the same line that were perfect for this look so I wanted to share. Sometimes finding the right shade when ordering online can be tricky. Thats why I love that I found all of this at Nordstrom because they offer free shipping and returns in case you need to change your shade!

Once you have a nice clean face I like to moisturize. I found this Prima Color Control Glow moisturizer which is gives my skin the prettiest finish! It had vitamin E and SPF in it which are major bonuses. It has these micro pigments which give a blurring effect to blemishes and wrinkles. The best part is that it is a tinted moisturizer which leaves a great base for the foundation. Next I used the Power Fabric High Coverage Stretchable Concealer and I really love it because it has good coverage. I would say it’s on the heavier side though so I like to thin it out a little with my eye cream and then use a beauty blender to blend it all out. This product actually says it can be used alone as a foundation because of its great coverage and blend-ability.
Next I tried the foundation Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation it comes in 27 shades so it is easier to find an exact match. This foundation is so velvety smooth and is the perfect mix between a dewey and matte look. It is build able coverage and would be good on both normal to oily skin plus the first ingredient is water which I love! I tend to have drier skin so I always add extra moisturizer into my foundations before I apply. Then if necessary I use a setting powder like this one.
E Y E S
For eyes I just went with a neutral slightly smokey eye. Giorgio Armani has really beautiful cream shadow called Eyes to Kill. It is a really pretty cream to powder product that leaves a shimmer. This is definitely build-able and spreadable. Add in a little black eyeliner and smoke it out and top it off with your favorite mascara.
L I P
I got this pretty liquid lip set called Lip Maestro Travel Trio. It is the perfect set that comes with a nude, a pink and a red. It is a very smooth gloss that is highly saturated with color and I find it to feel really moisturizing. I love that there is a shine to it and that it has such strong pigment. The red is the perfect bold lip (color 400). And, if you aren’t the type that wears a bold lip often this trio is the perfect size and will last you a long time. I didn’t use a lip liner but if that is something you find you like to use then this one would be great!
