Happy Friday girls! Do you have any fun weekend plans or do you use the weekend for catching up on errands and chores around the house? If so I have the perfect outfit for you. If you’ve been following me for a while then you know one of my favorite styles to wear is athleisure. It’s just so practical and comfortable and easy to throw on to run errands and comfortable enough to stay in all day while lounging at home.  Nordstrom has such a great selection of stylish and cozy pieces. Every item of this look are great closet staples that can be worn over and over to create so many different looks and can easily be dressed up or down. Sharing the details below!

 

C O Z Y   C A R D I G A N

If you have never felt a barefoot dreams blanket or cardigan you are missing out on serious coziness.  This fabric is just like one of their blanket. It’s super plush and won’t shrink or pill in the washer/dryer. It comes in a dark carbon color as well and is perfect to lounge in or to finish off your athleisure look. I love the longer length and the hood…it makes it extra cozy. I’m wearing the size x-small.

S K I M S   T A N K   T O P 

I am really becoming a fan of the skims clothing line and Nordstrom has a great selection of the most popular pieces. I have a few pieces and really love them all especially this robe. This tank top is made from super soft ribbed stretch cotton and is just a great basic closet staple. They come in a variety of neutral colors that are great for layering or for wearing under cozy cardigans like what I am wearing here. For reference I’m wearing a size x-small.

F A U X   L E A T H E R   L E G G I N G S

These faux leather leggings are a must have closet staple. I wear mine all the time. They are great year round and help elevate any casual and athleisure look effortlessly. They can be worn with sneakers or booties and even heels. They are so versatile. I’ve paired them with cardigans, tunic sweatshirts, and even winter jackets. They do run a little snug I recommend sizing up if you are in between sizes. 

V E J A   S N E A K E R S

I love these Veja sneakers. They are so chic and stylish. They really look great with athleisure and go with almost everything due to their neutral aesthetic. I also love that they are sustainable Sourced and contains at least 50% sustainably sourced material. I They are very comfortable and I would say they run true to size. I wear a 7.5 and purchased these in a size 38.

A C C E S S O R I E S 

I just wanted to mention these new Celine sunglasses I picked up. They are so pretty in person and I love that the tortoiseshell is only on the bottom. They are a designer pair worth the splurge in my opinion. Also, this tote bag has been a favorite for a while its packable so when you aren’t using it it folds up really small and fits great in a suitcase. It also comes in so many color options.

As I mentioned in my last blog post I’ll be doing a major clean-out/purge this January.  I’ll also be posting my process on my instagram stories so stay tuned!  Today I’m sharing your most loved pieces from last month.  These are all (currently) in stock and/or available in multiple color options. I own all of these pieces and can speak to their quality. I can understand why they are so popular… I love them too! Many are great closet staples that will be useful year after year. E A S Y   S T R E E T   T U N I C

This is one of my favorite tunic sweaters. It comes in many colors and I love pairing it with my faux leather leggings. 

I have it it white and grey and always have it in rotation. It’s naturally oversized. No need to size up. 

 

 

P U F F E R   V E S T

This puffer vest is so good. It comes with a removable belt and a hood. It’s a nice weight for cooler weather as well.

This color option is no longer available but there are a few others still in stock.

B A C C A R A T   P E R F U M E

I am obsessed with this perfume… it is the priciest perfume I have ever bought…but so worth it. I have never received more compliments on a fragrance before.

There are also several different sizes available too which help with cost. 

 

 

F A U X   L E A T H E R   L E G G I N G S

These faux leather leggings are a must have closet staple. They can be paired with cardigans, athleisure, heels and boots!

They do run a little snug I recommend sizing up if you are in between sizes. 

 

C L O U D   C L U T C H

This is a great sleek basic clutch. I have it in the caramel color and love it so much. It fits so much too which is nice.

It is made in Italy from a soft lambskin leather an has a magnetic closure plus it’s fully lined. 

 

N E U T R A L   S N E A K E R

This sneaker is stylish and perfect for running errands around town.  I don’t think they are meant for actual running long distances though, however I might be wrong. I love pairing them with athleisure styles.

I’m wearing the color sea salt and would say they fit TTS.

 

 

O V E R   T H E   K N E E   B O O T

These over the knee suede boots are especially cute with dresses.

The chunky heel makes them comfortable and I love the shape of the toe. (also available in black)

 

 

B L A C K   D E N I M   J E A N S

I have continually reached for these Good American jeans since I got them last year.

They are amazing and have the best fit! 

 

L E A T H E R   T O T E B A G

This leather tote bag is a great carry all. The leather is soft and fits comfortably over the shoulder. 

It comes in many color options. Just FYI there is no lining and it’s very very soft and slouchy.  

 

 

P A J A M A  S E T

I am very picky when it comes to fabric… it has to be really soft and cozy.

These pajamas are perfect and come in so many color options. I would buy your regular size in this set. 

 

S L O U C H Y   B O O T S

These boots are a great mid calf option. I love the slouchy look and love them paired with skinny denim jeans.

This is the honey beige colorway. (also 2 other options.) 

 

 

C R O S S B O D Y   B A G

This purse is  the perfect everyday handbag that has a high end designer look and feel.

It’s the perfect size to carry all of your essentials and comes in many color options as well. The price is really good too!

 

 

W I D E L E G   P A N T

These pant’s are so comfortable! They also come in a pretty navy blue too. They pair perfectly with bodysuits, sweaters and heels.

You could also wear these as a bathing suit cover up if you wanted to with a wide brim hat. 

 

A N K L E  B O O T I E S

These suede booties have been a fan favorite for the last two years and for good reason.

They are so easy to throw on with leggings, jeans or dresses. These also fit TTS and come in many colors. 

 

 

C L U T C H   H A N D B A G

This clutch bag fits so many of your essentials and perfect for day or night.

HAPPY NEW YEARS…& hello 2022!  I’m so thankful for all the blessings this last year has brought…and so thankful for you coming along with me on this journey. I love the new year because it’s a fresh, clean slate. Every January I get the urge to purge! I do major clean out of the things I’m not using. This feels especially satisfying after taking all the holiday decor down! I do love decorating for Christmas however I’d be lying if I didn’t say that my home feels cluttered after a while. So with that all said I’m so excited to share todays blog post with you. There are a few key organizational items that I specifically use in each room of my home. I’m breaking them all down per room in this post. Keep reading below to see what helps me get extra organized in the new year!

 

 

 

I love this tiered tray! It’s great for displaying your skin care of daily cosmetics. The marble is so pretty and the quality is excellent. It’s sure to look pretty on any counter.

 

 

These candles are so pretty and smell amazing. The trick is after you use up the candle fill with boiling hot water and let cool. Once the wax is cold it will float up to the top. Then you can use this to hold your makeup brushes or Q-tips.

 

 

These bags are great for organizing your cosmetics, electronics, toiletries, skincare, travel necessities. Super easy to throw into your purse or luggage or even just to keep your vanity drawers organized. I love keeping my nail polish in here.

 

 

I love lazy susan’s for all types of storage issues. These work great under the bathroom sink for lotions, hair sprays and dry shampoos and maybe back stock of products. They are also great in the pantry for snacks or for a spice storage solution.

 

 

These are great for storing any of your bathroom items from makeup to skincare, cotton balls and face masks. These can also be great under your kitchen sink to hold your dishwashing pods and sponges.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I love these for fridge organization. You can fill them with fruits, sodas, yogurt, sauces bags of cheese, etc. They are stackable and I like that they are see through so you see exactly what you have left. They look so nice and tidy.

 

 

These bamboo tray is great because it’s expandable and can fit most drawers. It’s meant for silverware however I use it for to organize my Nespresso coffee pods.

 

 

I use these in my pantry to hold my glass bottles of sparkling water or even overage of wine. They are also a nice spot to keep your clean dish towels if you have the room.

 

 

These are the cutest solution for zip lock baggies. So pretty and functional. They fit perfectly in most kitchen drawers.

 

 

You my have these already or seen them in the stores. They are great. They help to keep our food fresher longer, they look so pretty in the pantry and I can see how much we have left of everything. I use these for snacks, pasta, baking goods, etc.

 

 

These are another great option for storing your ziplock and sandwich baggies. These may be better if you have a skinnier drawer because they aren’t attached to each other.

 

 

I like this egg holder because of the lid. It protects the eggs and allows items to be stacked on top of it safely.

 

 

 

 

 

These hangers make a HUGE difference in space. They truly take up so much less space that regular plastic hangers which helps your closet feel less crammed.

 

 

I love these stackable jewelry trays. They come in different depths and configurations and sizes. I use these in my Ikea PAX system in each drawer to have a built in jewelry feel. But even if you stack them on a counter top they are still so wonderful.

 

 

These little dividers are great for clutch purses and wallets. They look cute on shelves and keep your bags clean and help to hold the shape.

 

 

These are great purse holders. They come in a pack of two and help transform your closet into a designer handbag boutique. You could also use these to hold your wide brim hats.

Theres only 2 weeks left in 2021! I can’t believe it! I’m still trying to finish up buying the last few gifts. I love shopping at Nordstrom because they have something for everyone.  I’m normally not the type to reach for anything flashy but during the holidays it’s so fun. From cozy sweaters and wide leg metallic pants to a little black sequin dress. I also love that even basic pieces can be easily dressed up with the right accessories. Happy Holidays friends! The tree is up, Christmas decor is out, and I’m in full present buying mode. I try every year to shop earlier than the last but I never seem to get too far. I started off strong then somewhere along the line got behind again. I’m hoping some of you can relate lol.  I love when I am able to find gifts for everyone in my family at one store. With a quick trip to Walmart, I can get caught up again and it saves so much time. I popped in recently and picked up a few great items…some leather goods for family members, gift wrapping supplies and some rose! If you’ve been following me for a while you know that I only share the softest and coziest sweaters. I’m so excited about this one because it is so soft and the sleeves are a really fun balloon sleeve and the price is amazing.  I also like the mock neck design and the textured ribbing knit. This sweater also features pleated sleeves with a drop shoulder. It’s really comfortable and would pair with jeans, or skirts.  Easily go from work to happy hour with the right heels and accessories. It’s available in four color options and is offered in extended sizing. For reference I am just shy of 5 ft 7 and am wearing the size small.
