Q: What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
A: It’s a once a year Sale that releases brand new Fall items at amazing prices! Most sales are on items that eventually get marked down. But the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (aka #NSALE) releases brand new items already on SALE. They are on sale for a limited time…and then prices go back to full price on AUGUST 8th.
Q: What are the DATES?
A: Early Access is July 14 – 21. This is for anyone who is a Nordstrom Debit or Credit Card Holder. From lots of experience shopping at the #NSALE I do encourage my clients to shop the Early Access because items do sell out! You can sign up for a Nordstrom Card here. . The public sale is from July 22 through August 7th. Prices go back to regular price August 8th.
Q: Will pieces be re-stocked that sell out?
A: Thats a great question. From my own past experiences i’ve seen some items get re-stocked. But I’ve also seen more items that I wish I had bought sell out…and not be restocked. I will literally be a product stalker and hit re-fresh until it comes back. Some items do and some items don’t. So if there is something you really have your eye on I would not recommend waiting to buy it. Nordstrom has such an easy return policy (with FREE SHIPPING both ways)…that there is no risk involved.

A. CLOSET CLEAN OUT. Do a closet clean out before you make your shopping list. Take inventory of what you already have and what pieces you might need to purchase for the Fall. From the items I have already previewed there are more Fall/Winter pieces at the Sale…but I also found lots of pieces that you can incorporate into your current wardrobe…and pieces you can wear NOW. Yay for that! And also wanted to share something that was literally life changing when cleaning your home and closet. It’s a small little book called The life-changing magic of tidying up (by Marie Kondo). It’s a game-changer!
B. MAKE A LIST. After going through you closet…and hopefully getting rid of lots of clothes that don’t bring you joy, you should be able to have a clearer picture of what is missing. Add these items to a list on paper…or a note on your phone. This way you won’t forget about items you really need. Because trust me. It is so easily to get distracted my all the amazing items that are on sale! Add the Necessity items first…then have fun shopping the rest!
C. KNOW YOUR SEARCH/KEY WORDS. There will be some items that sell out right away. If there is a Handbag or designer shoe you’ve been swooning over from the catalog….get ready to add it to cart and checkout before it sells out. To save some time have the search words ready to copy/paste into the Nordstrom “Search bar”. For example. There is a PEDRO GARCIA wedge shoe that I have my eye on. I have that name ready for my search bar once the sale goes live.
D. THINK HOSTESS GIFTS & HOLIDAY GIVING. I know it sounds kinda silly to start thinking about the Holidays right now. But in reality the Holidays will be here before we know it. I always wish they had the sale closer to December since I love buying things for others that I would want for myself…lol. Last summer at the N-SALE I bought everyone in my family one of these for Christmas stockings and I also scored some of these candles for hostess gifts.
