SKIN TOOLS TO HELP WITH EXFOLIATION AND ACHIEVE DEWY SKIN

I am so excited to share a new beauty tool with you girls. I bought it over a month ago and have been using it weekly…and I LOVE it!! I also picked up some serums and another tool by Dermaflash at Nordstrom that pair really nicely together. Skincare is so important. Especially since we are all staying home and aren’t able to get some of the treatments we may normally get on a regular basis. I thought it would be great to find some at home treatments we can do ourselves and take some time for self care. Take a look below to get all the fun details!

F A C I A L E X F O L I A T O R

This little device is magic! The Luxe Facial Exfoliator from Dermaflash is such a handy tool that offers 2 levels of exfoliation. The main thing I notice is that it removes all the peach fuzz from your face. This is nice because your makeup goes on so good and smooth! It makes it almost have an airbrushed finish. It also helps to remove dead skin cells, built up debris and this is amazing because the skincare products you use will have a much better chance of soaking into your skin and work to their full potential. You are basically removing a barrier between your skin and your products. My skin is so soft after this. I highly recommend it. The kit comes with a mini face wash, a mini moisturizer and 4 replacement razors along with the device and its charger base.

U L T R A S O N I C E X T R A C T O R

This Dermapore Ultrasonic Pore Extractor & Serum Infuser is so great. It has two modes. One helps remove dirt, oil and blackheads and the other helps to enhance the absorption of your favorite skin care products. It works really nicely paired with the exfoliator too. This device is water resistant and should be used up to 3 times a week for best results. You should notice a difference immediately after use which is always a bonus. It helps improve your complexion as well for a great at home spa treatment! I did notice my face turn a little red the first few times I used this product but that faded quickly. When using it in Pore Extracting mode make sure your face is wet. When using it in Serum Infusing mode make sure your face is slathered with your favorite serum.

S E R U M

I have used this Night Repair serum from Estee Lauder for so many years and really love it. I love to use this at night and especially paired with the Extractor tool on the serum enhancement setting. It is intensely hydrating and feels so nice on freshly cleaned skin. It has antioxidants and hyaluronic acid to help lock in moisture. I’ve also noticed a reduction in fine lines as well. I also have really been loving ExLinea peptide Smoothing serum and  Vintners Daughter which Nordstrom sells but it has been going in and out of stock. All of these serums are amazing…And are my tried and true favorites!!

LEMON WATER

Another beauty tip that is no secret is lemon water every morning. It’s not only great for digestion and hydration…but also amazing for your skin. Here’s a little trick I do so I can easily take and remember my lemon water. At night before bed I fill a tall glass with COLD water, then I squeeze 1/2 a lemon and leave this glass on my nightstand. That way first thing when I wake up my lemon water is ready for me…and Bonus it’s room temperature. That’s how I usually prefer my water especially if I’m guzzling it down…lol.

W H I T E T – S H I R T D R E S S

This white dress was such a great target find. I had a similar one last year and wore it all the time. It is just a basic cotton shift dress and is really comfortable and also comes in black. This is great for a hot summer day or even as a swim cover up.

P A J A M A S E T

I love short pajama sets for the summer time. They are great for lazy mornings when its warm outside. The shorts have a drawstring waist and the top is a button up both with cute notched hem detailing. I bought these a size up but I wouldn’t recommend that because it fits a little too loose. I would get true to size.

P A T I O D E C O R

These new chairs are so good! They are an all weather indoor/outdoor wicker chair that literally feels like it is hugging your body. They are so comfortable and shouldn’t fade or crack. They also come in a pretty charcoal color right now and the best part is they are on sale 20% off right now! Also this cute table was a Target find!

W H I T E M I D I D R E S S

This pretty white dress was another Target find. I like it because it is a little dressier but still so comfortable. This dress does have pockets which is a bonus but the belt is attached. The price is so good. These sandals are an investment piece but are a timeless style so you will be able to get so much wear out of them. They also come in several colors.

S P A D A Y A T H O M E

There is nothing better than a hot relaxing bubble bath! I love to take a little time when I can and write in a journal and just reflect on all that I am thankful for. I also love making it as spa like as possible. So I find the good music and made spa water with lemon, mint and clementines. Also having a bath caddy makes all the difference! I found this one which is really similar to mine.

NEW FRESH JAMMIES

Hi girls and happy Monday! Since it is the start of a fresh week I thought it was the perfect time to share fresh new cozy loungewear! I love my neutrals but I have to say throwing in a few cheery bright colors have really helped put me in a good mood. Sometimes the small things make a difference. When it comes to loungewear Jockey always has the cutest and coziest pieces that are quality. From basic tees to joggers, Jockey never disappoints!

B R I G H T P A J A M A S

These pajama pants are so comfortable and really light weight. They are breathable and perfect to sleep in or just lounge around the house. They have an elastic drawstring waist and also feature pockets. This color is so bright and fun but it also comes in a lighter color as well. I paired it with a basic white tee which is a great staple item to have in your closet. I found a matching tank top that is perfect for summer nights. Also, I am wearing both of these in a size small.

N E U T R A L L O U N G E S E T

This top is perfect for working out in or doing yoga. It is really soft and breathable and flowy! It has a high low hem which I love for pairing with leggings. This top is also offered in extended sizing and I am wearing a small! I paired it with these pretty leggings. They are made of a soft stretchy brushed fabric with subtle embossed floral print. I love that these are moisture wicking so they are great for an intense workout. Also, they have an invisible zip pocket in the waistband. I am wearing these in a size small.

J A C K E T

Girls, this packable rain jacket is so good! A little random to throw in with loungewear but completely worth the mention! It packs away and tucks right into its own pocket and doubles as a bag with a dual side zipper. Plus a carrying strap! Perfect for travel or jut to keep in the car. It is water repellent and has a cute high low hem. This jacket cinches at the waistline and features a hood plus zippered side pockets. This looks so cute with denim jeans and sneakers. I love that it is a light weight material too. Its great for those rainy summer days when its still a little warm out! For reference I am wearing a size small.

This romper is so pretty! It is a fun brushed Tie-dye print in a pretty rose gold color. It is a pull on design with an elastic waist and neckline. Perfect for hot summers or even to use as a swim cover up. For reference I am wearing a size XS and am just shy of 5 ft 7.

Y O G A S T Y L E

This workout set is so cute! These leggings are high waisted with mesh lining on the waist band. The are really stretchy and comfortable. Perfect for any workout or lounging. This crop top sports bra is really comfortable too! And, I love the pattern, it’s so fun. Both pieces run true to size.

S W E A T E R & P A N T

This sweater is the perfect lightweight sweater for spring! Breathable and a pretty marl knit fabric. I think it looks so cute with these wide leg pants but also so cute with jeans of denim cutoffs. I paired them with these pretty white wide leg pants. They have an elastic waistband and a removable belt. I love when you have that option.

How cute is this set from Split59!? This set has been really popular but I’m happy to report I found it at a couple retailers with sizes left. These pieces are sold separately but are the perfect pair. The fabric on the leggings is a mid weight athletic legging. It would definitely hold up for any workout or yoga session! The tank is so cute and loose enough to tie in a cute front or side knot. These both fit true to size.

P A T I O D E C O R

I recently swapped out my outdoor dining bench for these three chairs and I am so happy I did. The bench just didn’t feel functional. These chairs are perfect to help refresh this space. I also added these pretty glass hurricanes with some real white candles and it creates the best ambiance. Also, this umbrella was a game changer because of it being rectangular. I feel like it looks so much nicer and actually covers the whole table and everyone is out of the sun.

A R E A R U G

Girls this rug is so good!! I recently purchased this to go on the balcony off of my Master Suite and I am obsessed. I ordered the color Beige in a 6×9 and it was only $88! The quality is amazing. It is a low pile rug which is great for my covered balcony. This is not an outdoor rug but since my balcony is protected from the elements it didn’t need to be specifically an outdoor rug. It comes in 10 colorways and also so many different sizes including runners.

This Chloe Faye handbag has been one of my Go-To bags for the last few years because it is classic. I love the polished hardware on this bag which sets it apart in my opinion. I love these wine glasses. They are just so pretty! They are called the Tour Red wine glasses from Crate & Barel. I actually drink all of my wine from a red glass! Shh don’t tell anyone. lol This is however an entire collection including stemless options. Such a pretty addition to a dining table or just to have a glass by the fireplace!

These patio chairs were such a good find! We recently added them to my Master bedroom Balcony and they look so good. I can’t believe it took us so long to style this space! I found these at Target and they have a few similar styles. The mix of metal and wicker is so pretty and neutral and the white cushion keeps it modern and comfortable. I love that it is large enough to add your own pillows to it and maybe even drape a cozy throw over it.

This headboard is so pretty in person. It’s a clean contemporary design and I love the wingback. It is made with solid pine wood and is upholstered in foam and linen. These joggers are one of my favorites. I have them in three colors they are so good and so soft. They have an elastic waist with a cute drawstring closure and ornamental button details. These joggers have a tailored look and include pockets! I paired it with this matching basic tee, and let me tell you…this thing is buttery soft! I also have this in black and white and its a great tee to lounge in but pairs so good with denim jeans or cutoffs. These tees are a great staple item.

C H E V R O N S E T

These lounge pants are so fun!! I haven’t seen anything like this so far this season and I really like them! The chevron print is so fun and unique. I also like that the tie is a coordinating color and not just black/grey. These are perfect for lounging around the house or running errands. They would look cute with a sweater too for more of an athleisure look. I paired it here with just a basic black tee. Such a cozy combination.

P I N S T R I P E P A N T

These cropped pants are really cute. The navy and white pinstripe is a fun twist and actually makes me feel a little dressier. These pants are a relaxed fit with good stretch. The fabric is nice and light and breathable. They have an adjustable drawstring waist and pockets to accent the tapered leg. I paired them with a basic white tee for the perfect at home lounge look or at home work look. I feel like you could even probably get away with throwing on some sneakers and a denim jacket and be good to go!

MY TRIED & TRUE FACIAL MOISTURIZERS FOR EVERY BUDGET

This winter weather can be so harsh on our skin. I don’t know about you but my skin gets so dry! I wanted to share a few of my tried and true products with you that have been a game changer for me. Hopefully, this will help some of you girls who deal with dry winter skin as well! The best part about the items I found is that they are a wide range in cost to help fit any budget. They can be found at large department stores right down to your local drug store!

T H E R I C H C R E A M

I honestly don’t know how I lived without this product for this long because it is truly an incredible product. I recently started using this AMAZING product from Augustinus Bader who is one of the world’s leading stem cell and biomedical scientists. His products help to regenerate our cells to actually correct the problems and repair our skin to make it healthy and function properly. As opposed to putting a moisturizing band-aid on the problem. I will admit that this luxury product is an investment but it does come in 3 sizes that help keep the cost down a bit. Also, it is now sold at Nordstrom which makes me even happier! If you don’t like it they will accept a return no questions asked. You know I wouldn’t be sharing it unless I truly loved it and believed in it.

This face cream (The Rich Cream) is an intensely luxurious, super hydrator that stimulates skin’s natural processes of rejuvenation. It dramatically improves your complexion and reduce signs of aging. They recommend this for night time use because it is so thick and hydrating. But if you are in a dry climate or just have really dry skin in the winter especially it may work for you even in the daytime. I mix mine with my liquid foundation for a dewy glow! Just to clarify…there is also a product called “The Cream” and I have used this and “The Rich Cream” and personally love “The Rich Cream” over the other. It is far more hydrating in my opinion.

B O B B I B R O W N M O I S T U R I Z E R

This Bobbi Brown Extra Repair Moisturizing Balm is one of my all time favorites. I’m seriously obsessed with this duo!! I’ve been using them for years & I have not been able to find an SPF moisturizer that comes close to this. This has an SPF 25. This product is a really rich balm & it leaves your skin hydrated and dewy looking. It’s amazing I promise. It also mixes really well with my foundation which is a trick I use to achieve that dewy glow. I also love the Bobbi Brown Extra Eye Repair Cream. I’ve tried many creams out there and this is by far my favorite one in this price range. It’s also a great base for your concealer. This product can be found at major department stores like Nordstrom and Bloomingdales or online!

O L A Y R E G E N E R I S T

Of the three options, this is the most affordable. I have been using this product since college! So I am very comfortable saying it is my tied and true go to. And it is a great product that is available at so many retailers including Amazon, Target, and your local drug store like CVS or Rite Aid which is super convenient. Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Face Cream is helps reduce the look of wrinkles and fine lines and is a great everyday moisturizer. It helps to hydrate, firm and improve elasticity and has vitamin B3 to help with cell regeneration. I feel like all skin types can use this, even if you are acne-prone. It is really gentle but delivers results. They have a whole line based around this product including eye creams and night creams so you are sure to find one you like. Also, the best part is that it is only around $25!

This boho crop top and maxi skirt set is so cute. It is a busier pattern than I normally go for but I love it. The best part is that it is on major sale today and under $70 for both pieces. Even though most of us have nowhere to go these days it’s still nice to get out of pajamas once in a while. This outfit is perfect because it looks cute and polished but is still so breathable and comfortable to lounge in. This white crop top comes in black and a leopard print as well. Since re-decorating my office I had these pretty shelves that I wanted to move to another area of my home. I love how it turned out! The shelves are actually from Ikea but I found them on amazon too. Loving how this wood mirror looks (similar) here. I used wood and white accents along with some new really good coffee table books!

The tie-dye on this sweatshirt is so pretty! I love that it is a little subtle but still so on trend. This was a great Anthropologie find along with these cute joggers that are actually on sale right now. These two pieces are the perfect outfit to lounge at home in or to pair with an athleisure look. How pretty is this blazer!? I love the 3/4 length rolled sleeves and relaxed fit which help keep it semi casual. This would be so cute over a graphic tee with jeans or over a pair of work pants for an office look. I am wearing this blazer in an XS.

You guys…this Lip Glow by Dior is so good! It comes in 7 shades and two finishes and one even has small gold flecks in it to maximize the shimmer. I like it because it has mango butter which is really hydrating. The cool thing about it is that this lip balm reacts to your unique chemistry and skin tone to create the perfect color for everyone individually. The different color options are just an underlying hue. It is a sheer shine that is somewhat build-able but will leave your lips feeling so moisturized. You can wear it alone or over your favorite lipstick to add some shine. It also doesn’t feel sticky either which I love. They also have this in an oil formula as well that comes in a few colors.

WELCOME TO MY HOME #STYLINAYLINHOME

Welcome to my home! I am so excited to share some updates with you since the last time we got to hang out. In case you are new around here we purchased our house in 2010 and have remodeled our downstairs with new wood flooring, white walls, new kitchen island, newly painted cabinets, new furniture, and a la cantina folding door that opens up into an outdoor living space. None of this happened over night and it will certainly change more in the years to come. Currently, we are adding some custom barn doors to our upstairs hallway which I will share too once it’s ready. I love a light & airy, bright & cozy home. Also, we absolutely LOVE to entertain. We host as often as we are able and can’t wait to make more fun memories with friends and family in our home again soon. I’m going to be sharing a few of our favorite spaces with furniture details, paint colors, interior specs, etc.

THE PARLOR

Our parlor has white wainscoting on the ceilings along with 6 foot height white wainscoting on the walls. We furnished our parlor with a white china cabinet (similar), 2 Restoration hardware Lyon chairs (see similar below), and matching love seat (also from RH). For our end table we used a gold accent bar cart with simple candle and flower accessories and the coffee table is from Anthropologie but I found an almost identical one at CB2….see here.

For lighting we used a RH chandelier along with a couple of canned spotlights. We have the same light wood flooring throughout our downstairs and in this room.

ENTRY HALLWAY

Our entry hallway is simple with neutral pottery barn picture frames. I mixed and matched different sizes of the same frame to achieve this look. Also I framed our most recent family photos. This runner is from Nordstrom and I’m linking the exact one for you below. Also this wall shelving unit is perfect for small spaces. We only had a 16″ space so it was super challenging finding a shelf narrow and tall enough. We love this one!!

Also one of the questions I get asked a lot is our wood flooring. We absolutely love our flooring from Hallmark! The colorway and style is Balboa. At first I didn’t like the black knots…but grew to fall in love with it’s beauty. THE KITCHEN

The kitchen is the heart of our home. I wanted it to be a bright fresh space that stayed cohesive with the livingroom. So, we continued with the light colored wood floors, white walls and gold accents. These cabinets used to be a dark red-ish brown color if you can believe it. We ended up painting our existing cabinets with a shellac paint. After trial and error we landed on CHANTILLY LACE because it stayed bright white when paired with the fresh bright white Marble we had installed. So happy with how it all turned out! BM-Chantilly Lace is a very bright, crisp white that has very little pigment in it. We also painted our walls, trim, fireplace surround in that same color! I love swapping out the rug in the kitchen to add a pop of color like this one!

I have a white farm table sink from SHAWS , the brass faucet is from NEWPORT BRASS. So many of you had questions about my three bar stools and I can see why! I fell in love with them the minute I saw them. I bought these from my dear friend Audrey’s design studio (AGK Design) in La Jolla, CA. I also found some other options available online. Another question I get asked a lot is my kitchen backsplash. It’s from ENCORE ceramics. I have a detail of the box: Duracite 2007792 s/m: 20007180. We LOOOVE it so much…but it was a headache to install. Just make sure you find someone who knows what they are doing. We had to go through a couple installers before we found the right fit.

THE PANTRY

I recently did a pantry makeover, but am constantly updating to make it easier for my family to find snacks and it makes it easier to make lunches for the kiddos. Also I just like that it looks pretty and that we can see everything we have. Before I did this we would spend money on things we already had because I just couldn’t see it all. These bins and baskets have been a game changer and also help to keep things fresh and last a lot longer.

THE GREAT ROOM

Our family room is a great room and an extension of our kitchen, so I carried over the white walls and went with white slip covered Pottery Barn sofas. I added in a lot of various texture and neutral colored pillows and throws. I also installed a white wicker hanging swing chair that the entire family is constantly fighting over :). It has been the most fun addition and the kids love it! I also get many questions about having white furniture and the key is draping and layering throw blankets over the couch which can be washed and it looks cozy and styled!

FIREPLACE MANTEL

I couldn’t wait to replace the original mantel that came with our house, so I opted for a simple white shelf along with small white marble tiles styled in a chevron pattern. The mantle is one of my favorite things to style in my house and I’m constantly changing up the accessories.

One of the things I never change is this large circular mirror (Similar) and this super cozy faux fur rug. It is our families favorite spot to sit in the house. Especially now that we are hanging out all day and playing games by the fire.

Paint color on the walls and on the fireplace surround is Benjamin Moore’s: Chantilly Lace

M A S T E R B E D R O O M

I believe that one of the most important rooms in your house is your bedroom. This space should be a sanctuary or a space that is calming. We spend so much time in our rooms that I think its important to feel relaxed and let the day wash away. That’s why I think it is so important to have a super cozy bed. Not only because a good nights rest is so important but also because beds are usually the focal point. That is what I would start with when designing my space. I wanted my room to have a serene spa feel to it. I started with this beautiful linen tufted wingback headboard. This was my inspiration when designing my Master Suite. I wanted a fancy hotel vibe so I also added fluffy white bedding with this down comforter and added this new bench to end of the bed that pairs nicely with the headboard. My favorite addition was the 7 ft floor mirror from Anthropologie. It made a world of difference and is so pretty! It comes in three different sizes and 3 different finishes too.

H O M E O F F I C E

Step into my office…. I have to say this is where I get most of my content set up for you guys and am able to work the best. We created this space during the remodel and it was one of the best decisions we could have made. I love having my own space to work that makes me happy and keeps me focused on whatever the task at hand is. We added sliding barn doors in order to close off the space if needed because it is off of the Master Bedroom. I also love the wall mural from Anthropologie. It is still available and made a huge difference in this space.

OUTDOOR LIVING SPACE

One of my favorite renovations and the most dramatic was adding a La Cantina folding door to our kitchen. It completely transformed our main living space. It lets in so much natural light and makes the room bright and airy. The outdoor living space is right on the other side so when it is open it creates one large indoor/outdoor space perfect for entertaining. This space is one of our favorite places to entertain guests or spend time as a family. We installed two infrared heaters on either side of the chandelier that make it one of the warmest rooms in the house. This is a gas burning fireplace and I used a piece of reclaimed wood as the mantel. And so cool that mantle is hundreds of years old and was reclaimed from an old farm building in the midwest. We added shiplap to the walls and ceiling. Paint color for shiplap is also Benjamin Moore’s: Chantilly Lace. But we used an outdoor grade paint.

BTW…Recently I did a pillow refresh and really love how it turned out.

It is so important to stay optimistic with all that has been happening and to concentrate on the good things. Like getting to spend more time with our significant others and family and getting all of those house projects done. This sure did jump start everyones spring cleaning didn’t it!? However, things will eventually return to normal or a new normal where we see friends again and go back to work and the most exciting of all…date nights! So whether you are dressing up at home to prove you still can clean up nice or are just planning an amazing back to the office outfit…I have you covered! S A T I N M O C K N E C K T A N K

This satin tank is so pretty and I love the ruching at the neck. I think it is so cute with these pants and also think it’d be great for the office or a zoom meeting with the office! This is a super versatile piece that can be worn with practically any bottoms. I am wearing it in a size SMALL and have it in the color pecan but it also comes in black. The fabric makes it really versatile so dress it down with jeans and some sandals or dress it up for a date night!

D E N I M J O G G E R S

I really like these high waisted cargo joggers! Once I styled them with this satin top, I was sold! They are so fun. I love the all the details like the sash tie waist, the cargo pockets and the cute cuffed hem. These would be great with tank tops, tees and sweaters and especially good for casual day at the office! I am wearing them in a XS and for reference I am just shy of 5 ft 7.

S A T I N S L I P D R E S S

This slip dress deserves a date night. It is such a good basic dress to have available to pull out for any event. Plus the price is so good! It features a v-neck and adjustable spaghetti straps with a front slits and a straight hem. It also comes in a really pretty bright red. With a solid color, especially black you can add a moto jacket and heels or dress it down for work with a blazer over it or even add a sweater on top with some sneakers and be good to go. Wearing the size XS here.

B L A Z E R

This ruched tank is so good. It’s just a great basic with a little bit of fancy! This top has adjustable spaghetti straps to help get the perfect fit. The ruching in the front helps give it a little extra character. Pair it with work slacks or denim jeans and some heels. Easily go from day to night or from the kitchen to the couch if were being honest. This top comes in 3 other colors as well. For reference I am wearing the size XS.

Now these really elevate my jogger game…don’t you think!? These joggers are so pretty and unique. I love the high waist and the elastic waistband on the back portion to help reduce any gap and get a great fit. The front has a clean tailored look with pleated details which makes them look a little dressier and way more expensive than they are. These would be great year round but I especially feel like these would be great for the holidays with a cute sweater! Either way they are super flattering and can be styled so many ways. They also come in a fun bright coral color. I am wearing the color nude sorbet. FYI…they run very big. I would size down atleast 1-2 sizes.

M A K E U P

Since we have been home so much I haven’t been wearing a full face of makeup everyday but, there are a few products that I definitely rely on. The first being this bronzer from Nars. I always feel better when I have some color on my face. Another item I swear by is this eyelash primer. Especially now that I haven’t been getting lash extensions. This goes on before your mascara and makes your lashes so much longer and thicker too, you’ll notice a huge difference. Lastly, I always need something on my lips and I recently discovered this lip glow by Dior cosmetics and I am loving it. It comes in 6 colors and is really moisturizing.

S K I N C A R E

I’m so into skincare right now and letting my skin breath and it feels so nice! A few of my tried and true products would be this C-Firma vitamin C day serum from Drunk Elephant. It helps to brighten your skin, even out skintone and reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Second would be this Bobbi Brown moisturizing balm. I’ve used this for years. It is just really hydrating and also has SPF which I love. I like putting a few drops of these face tanning drops in it too! Lastly I have been loving these lift and firm eye patches from Peter Thomas Roth. These help to improve the look of fine lines, wrinkles, darkness, puffiness, and loss of firmness.

Two of my favorite hair care products that I use almost every day and would be my choice to purchase from the sale would be this ceramic curling iron from T3 and this perfect hair day dry shampoo by Living proof! Both of these are a good hair day dream come true. This curling iron gives my hair the best curl that lasts for days and it doesn’t damage my hair or pull it out. Plus it’s so pretty. I am obsessed with a good dry shampoo and this one is great because it doesn’t leave white residue, it isn’t sticky and it smells so good!

AT HOME DATE IDEAS

With spring comes warmer weather and I am so ready for it. I love to pull out my bright whites and fresh light denim and I just found the best pieces that are perfect for the season! There are so many great pieces right now at Walmart that are super budget friendly and perfect for spring. Now, I just need the hubby to take me on a date… in either the living room or the back yard of course. lol

W H I T E D E N I M J A C K E T

I love a good jean jacket and, one in white is even better! This jacket has good stretch too which makes it extra comfortable. This jacket is your standard denim silhouette with button front and cuffs and also is the perfect length which hits right below the waist. This jacket would be really cute over any graphic tee or over a dress this summer.

D E N I M J E A N S

I am in love with these ripped hem jeans! Honestly they are so good! This pair is a high rise slim fit and are just so flattering. They have a zip fly and button closure with some distress around the ankle and an over all classic clean look. If you are in-between sizes I would recommend sizing up one.  They also come in 3 washes, these being the lightest of the 3 options…and they come in extended sizes too.

S A N D A L S

I love a great pair of neutral sandals in the summer time.  These classic T- strap sandals are so cute with a slight heel. They pair perfectly with denim jeans, shorts and even dresses. They come in 3 colors of pretty vegan leather and have a nice cushioned insole. Also, the price is so budget friendly!

A T H O M E D A T E I D E A S

1. Back Yard Picnic – This is such a cute way to spend a little quality time together and you can do it right in your own back yard. Pack up a basket, old school style and fill it with sandwiches, fruit, and maybe some Ice tea or lemonade or other favorite snacks. Surprise them for a snack in the sunshine. Everyone has to eat so this is an easy way to make a fun memory.

2. Fireside Card Games – Sitting by my fireplace is my FAVORITE!!. Turn it into a date by making a cute little charcuterie tray, a glass of wine and a board game or deck of cards. Put down a faux fur rug, some pillows and plush blankets to create a cozy and comfortable space and you’re all set!

3. Outdoor Movie Night – This one works best in the summer but on a nice night it is so fun to watch a movie outdoors. Either using a projector against your house or just making a backyard lounge with pillows, blankets, fun drinks, popcorn and a lap top. Watching movies under the stars is a great date night but also, it can be fun for the whole family!

4. Sip & Paint – This is such a fun option! You can actually order kits online that show you how to paint a picture of your choice and it includes the paint and canvas. Just pour some wine and create some art together with your at home sip and paint shop!

5. Candle lit Takeout – This one is nice because no one has to cook. It’s the next best thing to going to a restaurant except you get to be comfy in your own home. Also, with dinner taken care of no one is cleaning or cooking or multitasking.

Since we’ve been staying home the past month I’ve noticed that my skin care routine has improved. This has an SPF 25. This product is a really rich balm & it leaves your skin hydrated and dewy looking. It’s amazing I promise. It also mixes really well with my foundation. I also love the Bobbi Brown Extra Eye Repair Cream. I’ve tried many creams out there and this is by far my favorite one. It’s also a great base for your concealer.

This week was my kids Spring Break and we enjoyed it with extra screen time, movies, puzzles, and getting our first take out dinner since we’ve been home. We ordered pick up from on of our favorite Thai restaurants in San Diego called “Birds Eye Kitchen”. It’s also been raining non-stop which is so unusual for San Diego. I have been trying to organize different areas of my home with the extra time indoors. I have been searching for items to help me with that and I actually found so many great items to help me keep my closet clean! Like this great jewelry organizer and small handbag holder. I also really love this light fixture. Another thing I love is having pretty wood hangers for my closet/office. It gives it a boutique feel and that makes me happy!

This juicer has been such a fun addition to our kitchen. We first bought it thinking it would be fun to make fresh OJ but we actually use it so much more than I even thought. The kiddos love to make fresh OJ for breakfast and the my husband and I have been squeezing fresh grapefruit juice for a vodka-soda cocktail in the evening!

Am I the only one who feels like this week went by faster than the last two? I am happy to report we are finally getting in a routine over here. How about you girls? Adding teacher to my daily routine has been challenging as I’m sure a lot of you are also experiencing but, we are finally figuring it out. These high rise tie dye sweatpants are super comfortable and the price is so good! This matching raw hem cropped sweatshirt would be cute with denim jeans too and comes in a few colors. I am wearing the XS pants and a Small in the sweatshirt.

When it comes to athleisure or workout gear adidas has always been one of my go-to’s. These tank tops are so cute on their own or under a lounge cardigan. Paired with joggers or leggings and some athletic shoes like these adidas sneakers. Its the perfect outfit to be comfortable and feel put together.

P A J A M A S E T

I know this is so different from my neutrals but I love this bright set! You girls asked for some brighter items temporarily and I listened! I definitely feel that lately it helps uplift my mood!:) This cozy brushed pullover crew neck top would be great to pair with any lounge bottoms. It is so comfortable and cozy you won’t want to take it off. I paired it with the matching bottoms. They are a relaxed wide leg fit with a roll over waist band. This set also comes on one other color.

You know how much I like a good basic tee and this one is so good. Super soft and stretchy too. Such a classic clean easy look to just throw on with jeans and a pair of heels. It comes in a few other colors as well. Also,this clutch is perfect for date night or to complete any look. Give me all the loungewear! This set is super comfortable and I love the pretty blush color but it also comes in a dark grey and an olive. This cropped hooded sweatshirt is really soft and has a relaxed fit and pairs perfectly with these lounge trousers and together they make the perfect outfit for running errands (like we did in the good ol’ days) or just around the house. The trousers also come in the three colors.

Step into my office…. I have to say this is where I get most of my content set up for you guys and am able to work the best. I love having my own space to work that makes me happy and keeps me focused on whatever the task at hand is. We added sliding barn doors in order to close off the space if needed because it is off of the Master Bedroom. I also love the wall mural from Anthropologie it made such a big difference and these pretty velvet chairs too!
