This cropped cardigan is so cute and so soft. It could also be tucked into high waisted skirts. I paired mine with grey denim jeans, black heels and a YSL handbag.

Sweater dresses are definitely my go to piece this fall. They are so cute and easy and look adorable with boots. I paired this one with a fall felt hat and a neutral YSL Handbag.

This dress is so cute and perfect for layers. It would look really cute with a scarf and jacket and boots or even booties. It is a casual dress and perfect for every day wear.

I really love the way my bedroom has come together. In large part due to this beautiful ornate mirror and velvet chairs. They are both on sale right now at Anthropologie! I highly recommend both. The mirror comes in 3 sizes and also in Black or Silver. The chairs have several color options as well. They are a great addition to any room!

O V E R   T H E   K N E E   B O O T S

Boots for everybody! One of my favorite things about fall is all of the beautiful boots that hit the retail floors. Looks for every occasion are out now. It comes as no surprise that one of my favorite looks is a great sweater dress with over the knee boots. And right now there are so man y to choose from!

I love the deep ribbing and the pretty bell sleeves on this dress. It is the perfect length especially when paired with over the knee boots. You could also pair this with tights and booties in the winter!

I am really liking the pieces I found for my fall porch makeover. This buffalo plaid is really so cute! And honestly it is such a popular item almost every retailer has a version of it. Hello friends and happy Tuesday! We are well into October and officially be in the holiday months! I don’t know about you but, I am just so excited about this!  I’ve already changed my mantel to Autumn decor and added pumpkins to my porch. Now I am counting down the days until I can put up my tree! But first…Halloween! I have so may fun things coming for this super fun holiday including decorations, drinks and more! W I D E   L E G   P A N T S

I really like these wide leg corduroy pants are really cute and cozy too! Because of the thicker fabric they are great for cold days and I think they would even look cute paired with boots because of the length.  They also have a matching blazer if you are looking for an office set. These are slim through the hip and thighs then finish with a straight leg. They are cropped and would likely be slightly longer on anyone shorter that 5 ft 7. They are offered in a wide variety of sizes too!

C R E A M   S W E A T ER 

This is such a great turtleneck sweater. It is on the lighter side and with its elbow length sleeves its great for warmer winter days. This sweater has a lot of stretch to it which makes it super comfortable. You could pair this with a skirt, slacks or even jeans this season and get so much use out of it. It is great for the office too. 

F A U X   F U R   J A C K E T

This faux fur jacket is so pretty! It is the perfect coat for winter and to dress up any outfit! It has a relaxed fit with  enough room to wear a thick sweater underneath it. Also, it hits just below the hips. For reference I am 5ft 7. This jacket is offered in both regular and petite sizes which is great. The color of this faux fur is just beautiful in person. I would recommend this jacket if you are in the market for a new one this winter.

I love this outfit. The oversized sweater is so good! I especially like it paired with these booties because it gives it a little edge. PS. obsessed with this white quilted Tory Burch bag. The leather is so soft and high quality and really easy to clean with the right product.

J A C K E T

This jacket is sophisticated, stylish and great quality!  It is fully lined with a front button closure and decorative front pockets. It doesn’t have any stretch to it so I would choose your size with that in mind. Also, it comes in two really pretty solid colors and the print I am wearing. 

L E O P A R D   S L I P   S K I R T

This skirt is so versatile. It could be worn to the office with a black tee and a blazer, you could layer a sweater over it with sneakers or even a basic white tee tied at the waist then pair it with heels. It’s a great piece for fall and it comes in a few other patterns. Also I linked a similar jacket because this one is sold out. But the one I linked is on sale today!

I love re-designing my mantle. For this look I chose Pampas grass and fresh eucalyptus with different textured vases and gold accents. I love this mirror too. It could be cute above a home bar, an entry table and even as a bathroom mirror over the vanity. Very versatile and timeless.

These over the knee boots are so good and so comfortable! I really love all the boot options out right now and in such pretty rich colors. They can be paired with so much but especially leggings, skinny jeans and sweater dresses!

These faux leather leggings are one of my favorites. They are made by Spanx which means they are comfortable ad just suck you in. Which every girl loves. They have a dressier feel to because of the pretty sheen. Also, we need to talk about this sweater because it is so good! Naturally oversized and the perfect warm cozy knit for fall!

I recently got this rug and I absolutely love it. It completely compliments the white and natural wood color I have in my kitchen. This could be really cute too as a bathroom rug. I highly recommend this one!

Hi friends! I hope you all had a great weekend!  It was our wedding anniversary this weekend.  We celebrated with a mini staycation downtown with the kids.  It was fun to bring them to one of our favorite dinner spots downtown SD.  Then on Sunday we took them to Balboa Park to see the spot where we got married.  It’s so special to share these moments with our littles.

So happy I came across this coat.  It is sophisticated, stylish and great quality! 

Since I generally have a pretty neutral closet it makes for the perfect pairing with a piece like this.

This jacket is really good quality and is fully lined with a front button closure and decorative front pockets.

It doesn’t have any stretch to it so I would choose your size with that in mind.

It has size options from XXS to 4X which is amazing.

Also, it comes in two really pretty solid colors and the print I am wearing.

This kimono top is the perfect item to wear with jeans or leggings and a basic tee. 

It is just long enough in the back to get away with leggings and boots which is nice.

It is light weight enough to wear in the summer but I am loving the fall colors which makes it versatile.

For those of you asking it does sit on the floor but the top is anchored into the wall since we get earthquakes in CA. Also, I love these chairs they are even better in person. There is a pretty brass handle on the back and they come in a dozen colors. Also, both items happen to be on sale this weekend!

This faux suede trench coat is so good. The quality is so good and at a price point under $30 it’s an incredible piece to add to your wardrobe. This would be such a great autumn basic to throw on over  honestly any outfit. This coat is the traditional trench silhouette with a belted waist. Another way to wear it would be to tie the belt behind your back in a bow to give more of an open cardigan look. This coat comes in three pretty colors perfect for fall. If you are in the market for a new jacket I would definitely check this one out.

M O N O C H R O M E   L O O K 

I am a huge fan of anything cozy and comfortable. This Yoga Soho pullover sweater is both! It comes in so many beautiful colors and can be paired with denim jeans, shorts, joggers, leggings and honestly probably anything you want. I love the extended length which makes it perfect for leggings. The oversized sleeves compliment the oversized fit making it super comfortable. This top is a definite Fall must have! FYI…I am wearing the size XS.  Also, these pants are super comfy. They are made out of jersey material so they feel like sweatpants kind of. 

F R O N T   P O R C H   F A L L   D E C O R

Redecorating my porch for fall was so fun! I love how it turned out. I linked up a few of the items I found that are similar. Also the quality of this dress is really good. It has a nice weight and thickness to it and it’s only $18! These boots are really good to. They are slouchy though. I had to pull them up a few times. 

P O L K A   D O T   D R E S S

This long-sleeve dress is so cute with it’s button-front bodice and tiered skirt. The print is so fun and is so comfortable. It is a great dress to transition into fall with because of the long sleeves and cut. It also has little buttons in the front which are a fun detail. I decided to go for a casual look and paired it with a Gucci Handbag because of the fun gold chain. It adds a little something. Then I added my Golden Goose Sneakers. This dress would look really cute with sandals or heels and a clutch for an evening look too. So many possibilities, I just love it.

This week officially marks the first week of fall! Summer is still in full swing during the day here in San Diego but the evenings get nice and cool. The beginning of fall is one of my favorite times of  year when you kind of get the best of both worlds. Still living that summer life but at night you can have the fire on.  I turned ours on last night with some candles and a glass of wine, while playing shopkins and hatchimals with my daughter…lol.  With all the fun new decor out I got inspired to redo my front porch. And, since it is now officially fall I feel like this is now acceptable so, I’m so excited to share with you how I changed up my porch for Autumn this year and to share a new fall look I put together for less than $99! The outfits you can create with this basic dress are endless. You will get a lot of use out of this one this season and at this price you can get a few colors. And, the best part is this dress comes in 27 colors so there is sure to be one or more that you love. 

K N E E   H I G H   B O O T S

These boots are also from Walmart…microsuede slouch boots … the price is great too! They come in black and cognac and come up to the knee. Also, the heels on these boots are flattering. These boots would go great with dresses, leggings or with denim jeans tucked into them.   Please note that they are slouchy.  I noticed that I had to pull them up from time to time while wearing them.

L E O P A R D   P A N T S

These wide leg pants in a beautiful animal print by Vince Camuto are so good. The material is light weight and flowy and is machine washable which is good. Also, these pants feature an elastic waist band to help get that perfect fit. I am 5 ft 7 and wearing 4 1/2 inch heels. So these pants are going to be great for my tall girls out there. Im sure they can be easily hemmed as well. One of the great thing about Nordstrom is that if you care a card holder they do basic alterations for free. So getting them hemmed can be handled in store for you! Yay! FYI…these pants are very low in stock so I am including a roundup of similar styles for you below. 

 S W E A T E R

I am so happy I found this sweater I just love it. It has a nice relaxed and oversized boxy fit. It features wide sleeves and is just such a comfy pullover. It comes in three colors all perfect for the fall season. I love it because you can pair it with jeans or fun pants like the ones featured. You can also layer it over your favorite summer dress to get a little more wear out of it. 

H E E L S

These mina slide sandals are so delicate and feminine and come in black, nude and this pretty gold. They have a 4 1/2 inch heel and would be so great for the upcoming holiday season. I haven’t had them all that long but have already paired them with so many outfits from jeans to holiday attire. Because they are a simple minimal style they don’t distract from an outfit but make the perfect accent.  Please note: I don’t think these are good if you’ll be walking a lot or standing for hours on end.  I like to call that type of shoe a “dinner shoe”  pretty to look at while sitting down.  

Y S L   H A N D B A G

 I am obsessed with this Lou Matelassé Leather Camera Bags …I have it in both neutral and in black. Fun Fact these were insired by vintage camera bags! They are a great size and hold all of the essentials. It is definitely an investment piece but it would be a great one. It is made of calfskin stitched in a chevron quilted pattern. It has the pretty YSL monogram in gold hardware and features an oversized tassel (which we all know how much I love tassels) with a cross body strap.

Happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend.  I was in Los Angeles this weekend with a girlfriend for an early birthday celebration for both of our daughters. It was such a fun trip with our littles!  We lunched, brunched, had a sleepover party with cookie decorating & balloons, and made a special trip to the American Girl doll store at the Grove in LA.  With time going by wayyyy too fast I really appreciate the special times like this I get to share with her & friends.  We stayed at the beautiful La Peer hotel in West Hollywood and I highly recommend staying there if you are ever in the area, it is gorgeous!  This is my second time staying there and I can’t wait to go back soon to make it a third.  Anyhow, if you have been following me for a while then you know I am always on the lookout for cozy functional clothes.  From work to errands, to happy hours or even a dinner date out.  I wanted to share some favorites from Uniqlo because I think you will love them too. These U Wide-fit Curved jersey pants from Uniqlo are so comfortable and a great price too. They are made of a thick jersey material which has so much stretch. So they actually feel like you are wearing sweatpants almost but they are dressier. They were actually created in Uniqlo’s Paris atelier by Christophe Lemaire and they help make your legs look longer because of the gentle curve in the leg.  They also come in four colors so, there is sure to be one you love.

This is such a cute and cozy pullover sweater. It is very oversized just FYI. I love the marbled color and the high low hem. Also the neck is really unique it’s criss crossed to give it a fun shape.  It comes in three colors too! A great thing about this sweater is that it is long enough in the back that it could be worn with leggings and boots or just tucked into denim jeans like I did here.

These pants are so fun and come in two color ways. They would compliment any solid shirt so well. For reference I am 5 ft 7 and am wearing 2.2 inch heels and they fit me perfectly. I am also really loving this Lou Matelassé Leather Camera Bag. The leather is so soft and I really love the quilted look.

I really love this sweater with this dress. It is really soft and such a nice shape. I love the billowing pucker detailing at the cuff, and it’s the perfect length to pair with denim jeans, slacks for work and skirts! I’m also really into layering sweaters over dresses this season…it helps get a little more wear out of those summer items which is always a bonus. 

W O R K O U T   O U T F I T

When is comes to comfortable soft basics I always love checking Jockey’s website. This whole outfit is from there and is so good. This sports bra has really pretty mesh detailing that I love. These Leggings are comfortable and are moisture wicking which means they are great for a heavy workout. Also the sheen makes them so pretty for athleisure wear. 

O F F   T H E   S H O U L D E R   S W E A T ER 

I really love this sweater. It is so soft and very oversized which makes it so cozy. I love a basic black sweater because there are so many things you can do with it however, it does come in several colors. Layer it over a dress, wear it with work slacks or pair it with jeans. It is so easy to dress up for a holiday party or even an evening look with a pretty clutch and heels. You get the most use out of basic items and this one is a great one. One of my favorite ways to style a sweater is pulling off one shoulder and I think this sweater looks really cute styled this way.

F A L L   S C A R F   &   K N E E   H I G H   B O O T S

These Alexi boots are so cute! These suede boots have about a 2 inch heel and a zip closure. They are really comfortable. They come in a few colors as well. I found these at sole society and they have so many good boots to chose from this season. I am really loving this scarf too! Also, I think it looks so cute as pictured but would also look great paired with jeans and a basic tee or worn as a wrap. The color is really pretty and a bit darker in person. 

L O N G   B U T T O N – U P

This button down is such a fun twist on a basic staple item.  This shirt is actually pretty long. Becuase of this it could be great if used as a swim cover up. Also, it could be worn with leggings and boots, or even tied at the waist. It is super versatile and  has pockets too which is always a bonus!

Hi girls, hope you are all having a great week! If you’ve been following me on ig stories you would know that I recently went to a Roar and Snore at the San Diego Wildlife Safari Park with my hubby and our littles. You guys…it was so cool! It was basically “glamping” and our tent was right next to the elephants and giraffe’s.  I honestly didn’t do too much research before our stay so I didn’t know what to expect.  The sleep over includes, dinner, tent, smores, breakfast, and tram ride.  They also give you a private tour once the park closes and you get to see all the animals at night.  This part was really cool considering a lot of the animals are nocturnal. So fun and such a unique experience.  If you are ever in the area I highly recommend it. 

In the spirit of trying new things and the inspiration I got from the beautiful safari park…lots of animal prints have made their way into my closet lately lol. Well friends, life is getting back to normal with our regularly scheduled program. The kiddos are back in school, which means I’m able to get in more hours finding the best deals and new finds for you. I am so excited for fall! D E N I M   J E A N S

These raw hem high rise Levi jeans are so comfortable. I really like them! They are the best wash. I got them in the color sierra but they do come in six washes. So you are sure to find a pair that are perfect for you. I like the raw hem too it gives them a little character. You know you found a great pair of jeans when anything looks good paired with them. From a t-shirt to casual sweaters and even a button up shirt. These jeans work for everything. The tapered leg allows them to tucked comfortably into boots for fall as well.  FYI: they run small I sized up one for the best fit! 

P U L L O V E R

This is such a cute and cozy pullover sweater. It is very oversized just FYI. I love the marbled color and the high low hem. Also the neck is really unique it criss crossed to give it a fun shape.  It comes in three colors too! A great thing about this sweater is that it is long enough in the back that it could be worn with leggings and boots or just tucked into denim jeans like I did here. 

B L A C K   S W E A T E R

I really love this sweater. It is really soft and very oversized which makes it so cozy. I love a basic black sweater because there are so many things you can do with it however, it does come in several colors. Layer it over a dress, wear it with work slacks or pair it with jeans. It is so easy to dress up for a holiday party or even an evening look with a pretty clutch and heels. You get the most use out of basic items and this one is a great one. One of my favorite ways to style a sweater is pulling off one shoulder and this sweater looks really cute styled this way.

B U T T O N   D O W N   S H I R T

This button down is such a fun twist on a basic staple item.  This shirt is actually pretty long. Becuase of this it could be great if used as a swim cover up. Also, it could be worn with leggings and boots, or even tied at the waist. It is super versatile and  has pockets too which is always a bonus!

Nothing makes my mind more clear like a good workout…and especially yoga.  With rushed mornings I love waking up 1/2 hour earlier before the kids wake up and I’ll turn on one of my favorite Yoga dvd’s.  On those super rushed mornings when I don’t have time for a 1/2 hour workout I will at least spend 10 min doing stretches.  I need to be religious about that since I’ve been known to throw out my back from time to time.  This all started when I was 25…so I stand strong behind saying it has nothing to do with getting older…lol.  Anyways I always get more motivated to work out with cute workout clothes.  Especially pieces that can be worn out in public to run errands afterwards.  I just want to be comfortable and look put together at the same time. L E G G I N G S

These high shine leggings are so good! This high stretch, moisture wicking fabric is so high quality and really holds you in. Because of the pretty sheen of these leggings they almost look a little dressy.  Whether you wear these as athleisure, active wear or street wear they are a great addition to your wardrobe. And yay they are on sale right now!   I love getting my staple items from Jockey. The quality is so good and the price is even better.  FYI:  I’m wearing the size S.  They are long on me so I folded the bottom.  I’m 5-7.

C A R D I G A N

This open cardigan is such a great staple piece and really affordable. So easy to throw over a camisole or basic tee with joggers, leggings or denim jeans.  This comes in black and grey and is so versatile and great for layering. Such a great item to travel with.  

S P O R T S   B R A 

This sports bra is really cute! The mesh detail is so fun and makes it look more expensive. The material is really soft and the fit is great! I would say it provides great support for yoga or a low impact workout but not so much for running. However, it is great to wear when lounging around the house or running errands.

This top is so cute. I love the understated print and the structured shoulders. This is a great work shirt but could easily be worn out depending on how you accessorize it. It comes in three colors…Orange, Olive and black.

 I love this jumpsuit. It can be styled several ways and its darker color way gives it an autumn feel to it. I also love the built in belted look which allows you to get a tighter fit at your waist line. So flattering.

This dress is so fun and makes me so excited about the holidays and getting to be all dressed up!  This dress is so great for fall with it’s long sleeves. It could easily be paired with boots and a brimmed had and jacket too once it gets colder outside.

My family loves this egg chair. It was such a great addition to out outdoor living space. I can fit both kids in it with me which makes a fun space for cozying up by the fire! It comes in 2 colors. Also, These stools are on final clearance!

Hi…hope you all had a great weekend!  We went GLAMPING at our local Safari park and it was so fun! The weather was perfect & the tents were comfy. We booked this event months ago & stayed in a premium tent that has a queen size bed & 2 cots.  Only bummer was I threw my back out 2 hours before our adventure which definitely added  a twist lol.  Still managed to wobble around and we had the best time!  

In other news I was able to get super glammed up for an exciting new collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger!  I recently did a collab with them a few months back and was so excited when the brand reached out to work together again!  (You can see my previous post here).  The minute I pulled this dress out of the box I thought of Fall and the Holidays.  It’s a fun dress to glam up with the right shoes, makeup, hair and accessories.  I can’t wait for that time of year!!

The new, beautiful collection by TommyXZendaya can be found at Nordstrom.com! The whole line is a really great throwback to the 70’s and 80’s between pattern and styles. This dress is so pretty and has such a beautiful flow.  I also love the snow leopard print. The sleeves are slightly sheer and billowy. Take this dress into the next season with booties, a felt hat and your favorite coat, or style it more dressy like I did here with high heels, a clutch, statement earrings and a bold lip.  FYI: the slit is on the high side…which is fun and makes this dress a little more glam. The neck tie is adjustable and can also be worn untied…so cute! Also, for reference I am wearing a size 4 and I am 5 ft 7.
