Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend…and had the chance to celebrate the special mom’s in your life! I just got back yesterday from a much needed getaway to Cabo. We were there celebrating one of our best friends B-day…and stayed at the Cabo Azul. I highly recommend that hotel! If you love having a relaxing vacation…then that is the spot for you. We flew in late yesterday just in time for Mothers day cuddles with the kids. My parents also came over and my MIL and Aunt.

Dress
This Baby Doll Midi Dress is so cute. It’s trimmed with feminine ruffle detailing at the mock neck , cap sleeves and hem and is really comfortable! It is made out of cotton and zips up the back. The best part is that it has pockets! Pockets are always a bonus. This dress would be so good for any occasion and really good if you are wearing it somewhere hot because it is so breathable. But just make note that the fabric is on the thicker side.
Handbag
The Risa Straw Circular handbag is so fun and comes in two colors. White and a Neutral. It would be the perfect addition to any spring dress or romper!
Accessories
I am so loving hats recently. You can pop them on to compliment so many different styled outfits. These boat hats are so cute and are a really great price. Perfect to try if you are just getting into adding hats to your wardrobe!

Good Morning friends… I know a lot of you have vacations and trips coming up so I thought it would be helpful to share my travel make up routine! My hubby and I are heading to Cabo with some friends later this week! Since I am going to be on a plane, getting some sun, eating and drinking maybe not the healthiest…. I wanted to take a little extra time packing my favorite products that keep my skin hydrated. Taking care of our skin is so important and the products we choose to put on our face make such a big difference. I’m always on the search for the next best thing and Nordstrom never disappoints. But you really can’t beat your tried and true products that have worked for you forever. One of my favorites is the Clinique foundation “Even Better Glow”. It’s a foundation that is very fresh looking that you can wear every day. The coverage is buildable.

Step One
First, You should always start with a fresh clean face. I love to use the “Perfectly Clean Multi-Action Foam Cleanser/Purifying Mask” by Estee Lauder. I’ve been using this face wash for years. I love how it doubles as a mask. After I wash my face, I pat it dry and then apply the Estee Lauder advanced night repair. I love to use this product in the morning on days I am traveling because it really helps to seal in the moisture. With that being said make sure you don’t wait too long after you wash your face to apply the serum because it works best if you have a little more moisture on your face so it helps really lock it in.
Step two
Ok, now that our skin is clean, fresh and full of moisture I apply Unisex Healthy Glow Tinted Moisturizer by Charlotte Tilbury. I use this as a base or primer for my foundation. It helps give a really beautiful natural glow and helps even out your skin tone. The great thing about this is that Men can use it too! If you want a very very minimal make up look you can even use this product alone and skip your foundation. Just don’t forget to add an SPF moisturizer since this product is SPF free.
Step Three
With my primer in place its time to apply foundation. I make my own mixture and combine Clinique “Even Better Glow” foundation and Bobby Brown “Extra Repair Moisturizing Balm with SPF” and the result is basically a really fantastic tinted moisturizer. You can adjust how sheer you want the coverage by adding more or less foundation. I use a damp Beauty Blender however, you can use any tool you want to. FYI… this moisturizer gives your skin a very youthful dewy moisturized look and I just love that!
Step Four
Next step is to pamper and brighten our under eyes! I’ve been using Bobby Brown “Extra Repair Under Eye Cream” for years. It is pure magic! It is so moisturizing and I also love to use it on my lips which is a great bonus. Then I apply YSL Touche Éclat All-Over Brightening Pen and you guys, this product is amazing. You will not regret this purchase… I promise! It’s never cakey and makes your eyes feel and look more refreshed and awake and it helps conceal dark circles. I always take this with me on the plane to reapply once we land.
Step Five
Next up I use Clinique “Lash Building Primer” to make my lashes look thicker. I’ve also been using this product for many many years. I apply 1 to 3 coats of it before I apply my mascara on top and it works like a charm! Then just add your favorite mascara on top and you have gorgeous lashes!
Step Six
The bronze step! For my normal make up routine I always finish off with a finishing powder. However, when traveling I skip that step because it tends to dry out my skin. Instead I do a light sweep of my favorite bronzer from Nars and top that off with this face illuminator by Laura Mercier to give your skin an extra youthful glow.
Sunscreen all day! It is so important to protect our skin from the harmful rays of the sun. There are so many products that contain sunscreen so take advantage. I’ve linked a few that I really like. Give them a try…your older self will thank you!

Hi girls, I wanted to do a quick style roundup for you to highlight some of your favorite posts from last week. We’ve had some really fun pieces for you to check out if you missed them just head over to the blog! Hope you have a fun weekend!
I can hardly believe that it is already May! I have a fun trip with friends coming up and it felt so far away and now I’m realizing it’s right around the corner. Naturally, I have been looking for a few cute things to take with me on my trip and I found a really cute jumpsuit at Banana Republic. Rompers/Jumpsuits are such a great choice for travel because it doesn’t take up as much room in your suitcase as a full ensemble might. Two tips I may suggest is one…make sure you get the correct length for your height and body type. Two, I tend to like my rompers a size larger than I would typically wear. If you try it on and it feels like it may not be working try to size up one. It varies between brands and styles but the looser fit personally feels more comfortable to me. In this particular jumpsuit I ordered my true size and it fit great. I think Rompers are so fun and comfy and I love to accessorize them. Cute shoes, big sunglasses and my favorite… layered bracelets for the win!

Jumpsuit
I have to say that this Jumpsuit is pretty comfortable. It’s made from a light weight blend of linen and cotton which helps you stay a little cooler since these are breathable fabrics. Perfect for my vacay! I feel like I have a longer torso and it fits me great… and runs true to size. Additionally, I like the wide-leg silhouette and that it has a belted sash to help accentuate your waist. Also, another nice thing about this jumpsuit is that it is really nicely lined inside… the lining ends about mid-thigh (like shorts) to help you stay cool as spring is warming up this season.
Pants
These Pants are very similar to the bottom half of the Jumpsuit I chose. They are high-waisted, wide-leg luxe linen and soft, breathable cotton, and they actually have a really nice stretch to them. The cuff on the bottom showing the pinstripe moving horizontally is really cute too. I paired them with this Sweater Tank also from Banana Republic.

I’m sure I am in good company when it comes to spring cleaning and asking whether things “Spark Joy”! Organizing usually means buying containers and storage bins and asking yourself what you like and don’t like. This can usually lead to wanting something new. Today I want to share a few simple ways to update items you already have with small new accents…instead of just purchasing everything brand new. The perfect example is bedding. Your bed is your main statement piece in your bedroom. We spend 8 hours or more in this room (or are supposed to…lol) so why not give it a fresh facelift by adding in one or two fun layers?! I had previously purchased a really beautiful set at Bloomingdale’s by SFERRA. I’m completely obsessed with how our bed turned out and am still loving our new bedding so much! It features a double row of tailored satin stitching along the border of the duvet cover, flat sheet and shams. It’s made with Egyptian cotton and is so, so soft. It really does make me feel like I am at a fancy hotel and I just love that.
I decided to get new solid color shams from the same brand SFERRA to add some depth and layers to my bedding. I do have to say I ordered the color grey and it’s definitely more of a grey-ish beige color. But…I am loving it! Throw Blanket
If you are wanting to add a little pop of color or to just make your bed a little more cozy…why not add a throw blanket? It can help lend some texture to the overall look. I sometimes just drape it at the bottom of my bed to add a layer and a little color. Plus, I love having it handy to curl up with.
Solid Sham
I chose to add this solid Sham in the color Grey to my current set. Not only does it add a layer of depth by adding another row of pillows but it helps break up the white and compliments the trim on my comforter. It’s so fun because now when I look my bed it feels different and new but I was able to also use what I already had, it’s a win-win situation!
Solid Duvet
I decided to get this solid Celeste Duvet cover in Gray to compliment the new shams. I just folded it at the bottom of my bed to give it a nice polished finished look and tie everything together. You can do this with your main duvet or any blanket you may have lying around as well.
FYI…These frames just came in and I’m still waiting on my photos.

Happy Monday! With Spring comes fun dresses and and outfits that have the need for special undergarments. So I have been on the lookout for some great pieces to add to your Spring wardrobe. I found a few at Jockey which is one of those staple brands that has been around and trusted for as long as I can remember. Even as a little girl I remember seeing this brand on the shelves of my mom’s favorite department stores. Today I’m excited to share how I styled their cozy pieces. This morning for school drop off I wore these joggers, bra and I added a pullover. When I got home I decided to take some time to myself and do my favorite Yoga workout. It always helps me clear my head and allows me to have a better outlook for the day. Don’t forget to take some time for yourself every now and then…it’s so important. xx
Bras
These bras are so soft and comfortable. They are the perfect cross between a bra and a bralette. There are two options that I found. One has built-in cups and an extra thick band around the waist and the sides go a little lower to help stay invisible. The other doesn’t have as thick of a band around the waist and it does go higher on the sides. I think this one would be good with work out or yoga tank tops that fall lower under the arm. This second option is nice because it’s a convertible so the straps can accommodate a few different shirt styles which is nice. As long as you order the proper size these shouldn’t roll up. The deep plunge is so great for under any top that has a low “V” in front. These bras are the perfect invisible option and are just so soft.
Joggers
One of my favorite items to lounge around the house in are joggers. And these are all the perfect option. They are really soft and breathable and have a relaxed tailored fit. I love the button detail and as always POCKETS! 🙂 These come in a few colors and styles as well so take a look!

I love any excuse to gather people together, and with Mother’s Day approaching… celebrating my mom is the best reason of all. We plan on hosting a big family gathering on Mother’s Day and I am so excited! My mom and I have a tradition we like to follow every special occasion! She is such an amazing cook and takes care of all the cooking. I on the other hand, have always been the decorator at heart. I really enjoy setting the formal table and getting all of the details and decor just right. So I think we make a pretty good team :). This year was especially fun because we decided to use a MacKenzie-Childs Collection and it was absolutely beautiful. I am also so excited to share a little extra special something with you today from my family to your’s on the blog… (keep scrolling to see)
BTW….The first piece I ever owned was the Courtly Checked Everything Bowl and it is so special to me. It has so many uses and makes me smile every time I look at it.
Serving Dishes
These handmade Serving dishes are the perfect pieces to display my Mom’s beautiful recipes. The dishes were displayed so perfectly I didn’t want to eat anything… but I did… and it was delicious! Lol
Table Settings
These dishes are just gorgeous. It made my job of decorating the formal table a breeze this year. I chose the Sweetbriar Collection from MacKenzie-Childs this year and couldn’t be happier. These pieces are so special because every single piece is handcrafted from Terra Cotta by 11 different artisans and just one piece takes up to two weeks to create from start to finish. Which means no two items are exactly alike and basically a “one of a kind”. If you’ve been following me for a while you might have seen my trip out to Aurora NY to visit the actual MacKenzie-Childs production facility. It was such an amazing experience to see all the pieces being made, pressed, glazed, painted…all by hand. I have even a greater sense of appreciation seeing how much time, effort and love it takes to make one single piece.
Accessories
TIP: Even if you aren’t in the market for all new dishes… a fun easy and affordable way to update any table-scape is by picking up new napkins and napkin rings, a flower vase (I actually repurposed the Courtly Canister for my flowers) or even candles! You don’t have to spend a lot to give your existing table a makeover!
I’m so proud of my mama for following her passion. She’s one of the most amazing, caring, thoughtful, loving people I know…and she’s one of the best cooks around! Her cooking is not only delicious and healthy…but each dish looks like a piece of Art!

My moms recipe
Mediterranean Lentil Salad
2 Cups cooked lentils
1 Red bell pepper diced
1 Cup each red and green grapes
2 Persian cucumber diced
1/2 Cup Red onion finely chopped
1/2 Cup chopped fresh dill
1/2 Cup feta or goat cheese
1/2 Cup slivered almonds toasted
Dressing
1/3 Cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 Tsp ground pepper
1 Tsp kosher salt
Zest and juice of one lemon
Cook lentils in boiling salted water until tender and cool
Cut grapes in half
Whisk lemon juice, olive oil, Salt&Pepper
Place all the ingredients in a large salad bowl
Toss with the dressing and serve
*Shortcut: use Trader Joe’s steamed lentils.

You guys, how cute are these!? “Hair of the dog” phrase with the cutest pictures and pom pom’s. So cute and really great quality! One of my favorite pieces is this Ingenue Dish! It serves two purposes, one of which I didn’t even know I needed in my life until now! You can use it as a garnish dish OR you can use it as a Champagne/Chilled Wine rest to catch the condensation. Genius!

Happy Wednesday Ladies! I hope you are having a great week :). Can I just say how excited I am that summer is almost here!? I am starting to prep for a few warm weather destinations…and can’t wait to sip cocktails poolside. I have been on the hunt for the perfect bathing suit and swim cover up. I feel like all of us are constantly looking for a better swimsuit… who’s with me?! I recently have been so drawn to floral pattern. It’s also a fun print to add to swim wear. This suit I’m wearing is by Vince Camuto and it is from last season…I am going to link a few similar swimsuit options in case you are loving the floral vibe too!
Lace Duster
This crochet lace duster is so pretty. I have worn it with so many different outfits already. It looks great with jeans, shorts, dresses and especially a swimsuit. Super easy to go from day to night with this little number. The detail on this Kimono is so feminine and beautiful, I just love it. I am wearing it in the color Ivory. I am 5 foot 7 and this duster hits me mid calf. They do have a few similar styles in other color options as well. I highly recommend taking a look. You know how I love a good Kimono lately.

This Apryl Woven Tote is perfect for staying Chic while traveling this summer or going to the beach. It is so spacious and will easily hold all of your travel must haves. It even has a detachable matching leather pouch which can be used for cosmetics or your phone and some cash when you’re on the go. My favorite part of this bag is while the body is woven the bottom is vegan leather and has metal studs so this tote will be so durable wherever your adventures take you.
Shoes
These Khalessia strappy wedges are the perfect style and neutral color to go with most summer outfits. The wedge is about 2.5 inches high and the straps are actually pretty cushioned so the don’t dig into your foot. I would say they are pretty comfortable, especially before they are worn in. That’s always a plus in my book! I also love that they are suede and come in three colors!

I can’t believe that April is almost over…where does the time go? This week I have been working on putting my office together and designing a bright clean space for my family to get some work done. I am so happy to share with you that Walmart has a new line called MoDRN… and you guys, it is so good. I love so much of it and will be going back for some additional pieces in the near future I’m sure. But for now, I am going to show you the pieces that made the cut. Let me know what you think!
Desk Chair
How fun is this chair. I am so happy I found the MoDRN Glam Marion Chair, It looks so good in my office space. This chair reminds me of that old hollywood glamour. So pretty. This chair has sleek modern lines and right angles in that really pretty brass finish for the base and a woven Ivory upholstered seat with a tufted back. This chair also comes in really beautiful bold velvet fabric as well. If you have hard wood floors the nice thing about this chair is that the base has built-in glides to prevent scratches.
Light Fixture
This MoDRN Chandelier is currently hanging in my office and I am so in love with it. It feels like a modern throw back to Mid-century design. The combination of the frosted white glass globes and brass finish perfectly compliments the cozy atmosphere I was going for. The best part is that this is from a larger line with the same feel so there are plenty of additional home decor items available to tie it all together… P.s. the price on this chandelier is amazing!
Lamp
I love the way this MoDRN Glam Antique Brass and Marble Desk Lamp looks on my desk. It perfectly compliments our new light fixture and ties everything together. This would be a great affordable option for any room that needs a modern touch with a little bit of glam.
Throw
I got this MoDRN Woven Faux Mohair throw blanket in the color Gray Mist but it does come in two other color options. It is the perfect blanket to snuggle up with in the morning while you have your coffee. Definitely a great find and its only $34.00.
Pillows
I added a few pillows to this space to make it a little cozier and I couldn’t be happier. These pillows are very thick and firm and will likely never lose their shape because of that. I chose the MoDRN Scandinavian Knit pillows in the darker grey color but there were so many other styles and colors to choose from. I’m sure they will have something you will like.
Accents
How fun is this?! I just had to have it. This MoDRN Glam Decorative Swirl would be good literally anywhere. It would look great on desks, on bookshelves, even a mantle for a little added decor. I Just love it.

Hi everyone! I am so excited to share with you a few things that are close to my heart. Life goes by so fast and it is so easy to get caught up in hustle and bustle of everything. I feel like I am always either reminiscing about days past or concentrating on the days ahead and all that needs to be done. I am trying really hard slow down and to live in the moment and really appreciate what every day has to offer to us. When we start to focus more on being happy where we are and not where we would rather be, you start to find peace and so much happiness in the present. So, I decided to dedicate this blog post to the 5 tips to a happier you! Keep scrolling to see my 5 tips! BTW…one of the things that make me so happy is being cozy! P.S. This coordinating jogger and sweatshirt combo has been so perfect for this hot then cold weather we are getting in San Diego lately. Seriously so soft and light weight too. I am wearing a small in both the top and the joggers.
Tip 1: Celebrate the Small Wins
Sometimes in life we get so focused on the large milestones that we forget to celebrate all of the small wins that get us there. With out the baby steps we take every day we wouldn’t accomplish our dreams. So take the time to focus on the small wins and give yourself a little pat on the back.
Tip 2: Gratitude
One of the things that is really important to me is to take the time to be grateful. No matter what happens in life there is always something to be grateful for. We woke up today, the sun is shining, we are healthy. I’m grateful to hear my babies laughing in the other room. I am grateful I have family and friends that live nearby. I am so GRATEFUL for all of you because you allow me to do what I love everyday and share so many incredible things. I have a gratitude journal and I try to write in it as much as I can. Some days are harder than others so it’s a great tool to remind myself that there is so much good out there.
Tip 3: Self Love
It is so important to take some time for yourself. Cozy up on the couch in your softest pajamas with a cup of tea and a good book. Dedicate at least 20 minutes a day to do something that just makes you happy. Paint your nails, do the face mask you’ve been meaning to do… light a candle and listen to your favorite podcast. Invest in yourself because you are worth it…I promise!
Tip 4: Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff
I tend to create self-induced stress trying to make everything perfect or accomplish more than is actually doable. There is so much out of our control. Ask yourself ” will this actually matter tomorrow…next week…or in a year? In most cases the answer is no, and I’ve learned to let go of what I can’t control and shift my focus to what makes me grateful.
Tip 5: Relationships
Girls, this is so important. Remember to love the people you love. What would all of our successes and failures be without the people we love around us? Friends and family lift us up and support us with open arms when we are down. Make sure to be that same person for them. Nurture relationships that mean something to you because after all…we all need each other at the end of the day.

Every girl should have a classic watch in her accessory collection. And this one is perfect for any outfit. You can dress it up or down depending on what you pair it with. I am wearing the Emerson Watch – Gold on Gold and chose to pair it with the Double Wrap on White Leather. They both come in several colors and vary slightly in style. BTW…the watch is easily adjustable in size. I have smaller sized wrists and found a setting that is very comfortable. And best part was able to size it at home…so no need to head to the jeweler for resizing.
Hi everyone and happy Wednesday! If you’ve been following me for a while…or even the last couple weeks you know I love a good Kimono. I started growing my collection years ago and I’ve only grown to love them more and more each year. Today I’m teaming up with Sole Society to share this easy, Spring time look and some new accessorie! How fun is this bag!? It is such a great piece to have in your closet for spring. It holds all of my favorite things and goes with practically everything. I paired it with a basic tee and a Kimono (similar) for an easy breezy look. I also added these cute Sanjana Studded Slides and a pair of Sunglasses (similar).

I really like the look of the Foil Kimono. It is so light and airy and the floral print is really beautiful. The length of the sleeves are just right. Another great thing is when traveling with Kimonos, they take up no space at all in your suitcase. I am sad to say this particular Kimono I am wearing is sold out at the moment but, I’ve linked a few very similar and equally beautiful pieces below that I think you might like.
Shoes
Guys, These Sanjana Slides are so fun! They are really comfortable and the leather will certainly soften up once you’ve worn them a few times. Also, the heel is about 1 inch but I still consider them flats. The extra little heel makes them a bit more comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I am loving the studded trim because it adds a little edge and they come in 2 other colors. They can be paired with a classic tee and cropped jeans or even a cute cotton dress. If you are in between shoe sizes I would suggest maybe sizing down a half size because they run a tiny bit big.
Bag
This Apryl Crossbody bag is such a great neutral color that you can wear it with nearly everything. I am wearing it in the color “Cream Combo” but it does also come in two other colors. I like the straw texture of the face and the backside and the leather around the outside gives it a nice clean look which I also feel will make it more durable. Another great thing about this bag is the adjustable strap. You can wear it on your shoulder or make it longer for a cross body perfect for your height.

Happy Monday friends…I hope you enjoyed the weekend and soaked up some sun. I wanted to share with you these versatile Kimonos that can add some glam to your airport travel outfit and take you straight to the pool as a light weight coverup. This might sound kind of silly but I’m a huge fan of the 70’s show Three’s company and sometimes like to channel my inner Mrs. Roper. These kimono’s are especially great for summer travel because they fold up so small and take up less room in your suit case leaving more space for souvenirs…Lol.
You guys the price point on these are amazing. All three Kimono’s are each under $20 right now at Walmart, so I bought all three and had to share! KIMONO 1
The floral print Kimono is so pretty, lightweight and sheer. It does seem to run a bit small so I would size up. The sleeves did feel a little snug but overall so comfortable. I threw this over a basic “T” and my favorite pair of jeans… made me feel so put together and ready to take on the day.
KIMONO 2
This Kimono is a great length for everyday wear and is easy to dress up or down. There’s something about mixing stripes and a floral print…I just love it! And just FYI I’m obsessed with anything (well almost anything) with tassels! The tassels on this kimono add such a cute detail.
The length is on the shorter side so I probably wouldn’t wear this with a swim suit but it’s great for jeans or shorts. I dressed this up with my favorite watch and pair of earrings.

So excited to share this super chic, elegant, beautiful dress with you girls today! It’s from the new Tommy x Zendaya collaboration available at Nordstrom. Baby showers, wedding showers, fancy brunch and Easter…this dress will have you showing up in style! The front has a really pretty cross over. I also love the sleeves! There is a subtle slit going down the top 1/2 of the arm. This also has a matching blazer (see below). It’s the same color as the dress making it a very monochromatic outfit. Size tip: I sized up one size from my normal in this dress. (wearing the size 4 here).
If you’ve been following me for a while you know I’m a lover of solids and neutrals. Well this season I’m really drawn to florals! Does it have anything to do with the “super-bloom” happening in San Diego? Maybe…lol. But joking aside I’m so mesmerized by all the beautiful blooms in the Spring (& especially this Spring!). I’ve lived in San Diego almost my entire life and have almost always have been in a drought. Well after year and years the drought has officially been lifted! We have all of those rain storms to thank!
Well back to floral print…I love this dress I’m featuring in this post! It would be perfect for a bridal, baby shower, day time wedding, dressy brunch, or a summer night out. Please NOTE: This dress is very long. I’m just shy of 5-7 and I had to fold up the waistband high up. I didn’t have time for alterations before our trip…but would recommend that depending on what shoes you want to wear it with. Today I’m so excited to be teaming up with Nordstrom to share this beautiful-Spring look, & a floral dress round-up (rompers included).

See these pretty rings? Well about a week ago they were all piled up on top of each other in a ceramic dish. To be honest I didn’t even know I had 1/2 of these rings! It was like finding old treasures. I was so excited to see this ring organizer at Pottery Barn. BTW…this is meant to be hanging on the wall. I however wanted to use it as a display in my pull out drawer.
This is another part of that collection where you can hang them on the wall. This one is meant to store sunglasses. Instead of hanging it on the wall I like to keep it on my dresser to display my favorite pairs. Just FYI…they are only wide enough to display 1 pair of glasses on the bottom and 1 pair of glasses on the top.
This case is perfect for travel! It’s lined with this soft plush velvety fabric, has a place for rings and 2 secret compartments to store more jewelry. It has a pretty gold zipper and has lots of room for storage in the top compartment. You can also get it personalized to add a special touch. Also makes a perfect gift!
THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX
This fun organizational piece is from Pottery Barn’s office section. I immediately thought of what else I could put in this?! I also wanted to think of a solution for some of my everyday beauty products. So I grabbed my make up brushes, lip glosses and setting spray and they all fit perfectly. These are all beauty tools I use daily so to have them in a convenient turn style container has been a game changer! I love how it’s not only functional but pretty to look at too.

Baskets are almost always the solution for everything…LOL. They are so great at concealing toys, books, crafts, keep sakes, photos, scarves, hats, pretty much anything you can think of. We recently did a mini makeover to our kids play room. (see the before picture below). Adding these baskets (similar here) were a game changer!! They helped us conceal a lot of things that were visual clutter before. We also purchased some new frames from Pottery Barn that we’re in LOVE with! The wood colored frames are just perfect. I also believe that framing your favorite pictures are a special way to organize memories. So I thought adding these frames would be a nice unexpected touch to help with your organizing.

Hope you had a great weekend! I can’t believe it’s already been a week since we were at Disney?!!!! This weekend we had my mother in law visiting from out of town for my sons birthday…so we were busy with dinner celebrations, sports, errands.etc. I’m really excited for Spring break coming up! We’ll be taking a mini trip to the desert for a warm little getaway. When we get back I’ll be unpacking then packing again for a work trip to Dallas. I still have not even thought about what to pack or wear on that trip…I better get my bootie move’n!!
Today I teaming up with Walmart to show you a few of my favorite pieces from their Premium brands Lord & Taylor Shop. I have found a lot of great deals on so many name brands that I love. Walmart is all about “High-Low style” meaning they offer everyday brands along with luxury designers to best suit your style AND budget.
PANTS
First off, I want to talk about these gorgeous white slacks for Spring. These are HALSTON wide-leg pants that are normally $139…. I found them for $56.71… SCORE! These pants fit very flattering they don’t hug your legs too tight and drape nicely down. I did have to steam them after I got them in the mail but once I did they looked amazing. They have a really cute “eyelash” detailing down the two front seams in the middle of the legs that is really unique and nice looking. I could tell right away when I was putting them on that they were great quality. I am wearing them in the color CHALK. These pants are a great option for any Spring time events coming up like weddings, church, parties, work events, etc. Definitely a great investment if you are in the market for some great slacks and for a great price. (FYI they run true to size I am wearing size 0, however: they are a bit long on me to wear them with flats (I am just shy of 5’7), so I wore a 3.5 inch heel and the length was perfect).
SWEATER
Next, I want to talk about this V-neck sweater. This sweater is Vero Moda! I was so excited when I saw that they offered this brand as one of Walmart’s Premium Lord & Taylor brands. I have gotten a few sweaters from this brand and they have always been good quality, soft, and comfortable. This exact sweater is $35…. but on Walmart.com it’s $28! I love the texture and trim along the sleeves and around the waist. You could dress this sweater up with slacks like I did or just pair it with jeans, either way it’s versatile. I am wearing it in the color SEPIA ROSE… however, it does come in two other colors! (FYI it runs true to size but I sized up to a S for a little more length).
HANDBAG
I brought the whole outfit together with this adorable Louise et Cie clutch that I found for an amazing price! The quality of this bag is amazing you can tell that the bag was made very well and the leather is genuine. I love that you can hold it as a clutch OR you can pull the chain out for a little more length to be worn over your shoulder. Either way, it is a very classy and sophisticated handbag in a very neutral color making it pair well with most outfits.

I hope you’re all having a great weekend! Finally Spring weather is on the horizon…and with that comes longer days, a wardrobe makeover and a lower Gas and Electric bill. Haha atleast for us. I literally used our fireplace All day the past few months. Even during the day I would set up my work station on the floor right in front of it.
Today I’m sharing a few new pieces I picked up from Walmart’s new Spring Fashion Collection’s. I have found so many cute designer items from Walmart and at a great price too! I have even found some of my designer accessories on their website! They have an awesome FREE 2-DAY SHIPPING policy as well as for returns for purchases over $35. A lot of my wardrobe is also the same in terms of price points. (ie…mixing and matching a $20 tee with a designer bag)

They are slightly cropped at the bottom and have a slightly high rise fit to them. I love how stretchy they are making them super comfortable to wear all day long. These are great pants for work or for any Spring/Summer time occasion you may have coming up. (FYI they run true to size I am wearing size 2).
SWEATER
I paired the striped pants with this super cute white waffle knit long sleeve sweater. This sweater is perfect for Spring and Summer because of the waffle knit…it’s nice and breathable. I wore it over a nude tank top so that no undergarments show through. I sized up to a size Medium in this to add some length to it making it more versatile to wear with any type of pants or leggings to cover the bum. I can tell the fabric is good quality and it’s extremely soft and comfortable against my skin. This sweater is also a part of the Lord & Taylor Premium brands at Walmart and is UNDER $20! (FYI I am wearing this sweater in the color CLOUD WHITE but it also comes in 5 other colors)
