Hi girls, I hope your week is going great so far!

I feel like my plate has been a little too full lately…especially with our new puppy Luna. I definitely have my moments of getting overwhelmed.

I thought it might be helpful to share what I do to uplift my mood on those blah feeling days.

Also, sharing a new yoga look from Jockey that I love! It’s so soft and really comfortable. See below for all the details!

5 THINGS I DO TO UPLIFT MY MOOD

1. YOGA or STRETCHING

Since getting Luna “downward dog” has a whole new meaning lol.

If I’m too busy to do a full workout I find that even getting in a few minutes of stretching does wonders. 

2. MUSIC

Music can instantly change your entire mood. You may or may not be surprised that I have a love for hip hop & some good dance music.

On any given day you will hear me say  “Alexa play my favorite music”.

3. SKINCARE & HYDRATION

This one seems like a given but when your day gets really busy it’s easy to let this one fall to the wayside. 

Also don’t forget to hydrate.  I swear there are days I feel chronically dehydrated & water is also a great source of energy.  Whenever I’m fatigued it’s usually because I’ve had very little water.  BONUS: it’s also amazing for your skin. 

4. JOURNALING

This one is a game-changer.  Even taking just 5 minutes to write down what you’re grateful for will make a huge difference. 

5. TRAIN LUNA TO NOT EAT ALL THE THINGS

As a new dog owner I never knew how much joy a dog could bring.

We can’t imagine our lives without sweet little luna. However my home decor can’t say the same…lol. 

S P O R T S    B R A

Finding the right sports bra can be a task but so far… all of them I have tried from Jockey have been incredible.

This one is nice because it has built in contoured bra cups and is seamless.

It’s for medium impact activities and helps to keep you cool and dry.

The “Y- strap” is great because it’s adjustable and stays hidden under clothing.  

I also like that it has a wider band with no seems that helps support and all day comfort. 

L E G G I N G S

I am a big fan of Jockey leggings. They are always made with comfort in mind.

The fabric is soft and moisture wicking and mindful of seam placement.

I really like the high rise of this pair and the extra thick waistband which helps shape and smooth.

They come in 6 color options and extended sizing!

I’m so excited to share this head to toe look by Jockey.

It’s so chic and super-super comfy. Every piece is so versatile and can be worn into the office or for just lounging at home.

It’s also a great black monochrome look…which I love wearing year round.

B L A Z E R

I’m obsessed with this blazer. It feels like a stretchy sweatshirt but structured to look like a blazer.

You can easily throw it over jeans, joggers and a basic white tee for an easy look. 

Also, wear it for work zoom calls to look polished and professional all while staying super cozy.

I can’t say enough good things about this piece. It also comes in a pretty blue color option.  

For reference I am wearing a size small. 

L O U N G E   P A N T

Jockey has the best selection of joggers, leggings, loungewear and the prices are fantastic. 

These pants are a pull up style with an elastic waist which makes them really cozy.

I love the tailored bottom on this straight leg design… it makes them look a bit more structured.   

BONUS: They have pockets which is always a plus in my book.

Pair them with sneakers for an athleisure look …or dressed up with loafers, sandals. etc. 

I’m just shy of 5 ft 7 and wearing size small. 

B O D Y S U I T

If you’re looking for a new body suit…you’ll love this one!!

It’s so good…I have it in both black and nude.

It’s very comfortable (wearing size small) for all day wear…& the perfect piece for layering all year round.

I like the nude option especially for wearing under sheer tops or dresses. 

The black bodysuit is a great basic to have in your closet which will pair with almost anything.

This Fendi tote bag is gorgeous! It can easily can go from day to night from the beach to the office.

It’s an ideal size for travel because it will fit all of your necessities, lap top and even a small throw blanket.

It has an open top for easy access and has beautiful handles.

This bag is made in Italy from genuine calfskin leather. It is also available in 3 color options.

It is a splurge item but treated right will last forever. It’s so versatile you’ll be sure to get so much use out of it. 

B A S I C   T E E 

Because a basic tee is such a good closet staple that you can get away with wearing over and over. 

I don’t mind spending a little more on a soft, quality tee. Luckily this one tee from Free People is under $20!

I really like this Free People tee because it’s soft and comfortable and comes in a few colors.

 This tee is slightly see through and has a pretty marled fabric that adds some interest.

I like the drop sleeves and the relaxed fit which is slightly oversized. I am wearing a size xs.

C O V E R – U P   P A N T S

These cover up pants are so great for throwing on over your bathing suit to go  from the beach to lunch. 

Soft and comfortable enough to wear all day and even lounge in if that’s more your style. 

The white color-way can be slightly see through if you are wearing bright under garments. 

I also have these in black and love both colors so much.

For reference I am just shy of 5 ft 7 and am wearing these in a size xs.
