Hi…and happy Monday! Hope you had a good weekend! We were in Palm Springs for Spring Break and loved the mini-getaway. We stayed at the beautiful Parker Palm Springs. Stay tuned for pictures and reviews of the property…coming soon! I wanted to share this Anthropologie top today since A)…I love it so much. B)…it is so comfortable. and C)…today is the last day to get it with Free Shipping on orders over $150. It’s a flowy, flirty and love with frilly sleeves…Perfect for a date night out with the hubby! It’s easy to dress up or down. I dressed it up here with white skinny jeans, dressy slides, and a leather bag…and I would dress it down by tucking it into joggers and wearing it with flip-flops and sunnies.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! You can shop this top here or click the thumbnail above.
This top comes in a few colors and is currently on sale (Yay!). This color is called Silver. I sized up one size because the arms felt a little too fitted. As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, this thermal frays on the bottom with washing and wear… however, I actually prefer the raw edge detailing. This is another top that I usually layer ribbed tank underneath since the scoop neck goes a little low. I’ll be wearing this a lot this Spring with skinny jeans and cut off shorts.
Hope you had a great day! And don’t forget to subscribe to my newsletter that will be going out tomorrow morning!
Happy Monday! We had lots of football, scootering on the boardwalk (all 4 of us) and a big celebration for my friend Shelly’s bday! Brunch and pub crawling all day. Kids stayed at Grandma and Grandpa’s. And we were all literally in bed by 8:30pm. This never happens. Hope you had a great weekend too!
Today I’m sharing details about this side knotted tee. It’s very soft and comes in multiple color options. It runs large so I would size down (1-2 sizes), but the shoes I’m wearing run true to size. I’ll be honest…I haven’t walked long distances in them yet, but walking a little here and there… they have good cushioning and are very comfortable! Sometimes I get lazy doing the straps, so I found that once you get the right setting on them, you can slip them on and off easily. Yay for making anything easier. FYI: it’s hard to tell in the photo but the fringe in the sandals has the same coral color as the shirt.
You can shop this tee here and the rest of my look below….
I’m so excited to share that the top in today’s post is now on sale! I love the way this sweater looks with skinny jeans and lighter distressed denim. I think this would also look really pretty this Spring/Summer with whites. I tend to gravitate towards both warm and cool tones but this color is definitely one of my favorites and a constant in my wardrobe. I’m wearing an XS here and it runs true to size.
This is another sweater that, because of the fabric, would be perfect to wear to a summer BBQ…or throw it over your bathing suit with some cut-off denim shorts when it gets cold at night. I can also see this as a great date night top…with your favorite jeans, heels, chandelier earrings, and a beautiful bold lip!
Happy Monday to you! Did anyone else feel so so tired this morning. I had such a hard time getting out of bed. Thank goodness for coffee! Anyways I’m feeling a little more awake now and I’m excited to share this “spring-like” knit with you!
This top runs large…I’m wearing the XS here. It’s asymmetrical and sheer so I would make sure to wear a tank top underneath. It’s a light-weight knit that I will definitely be wearing this a lot throughout the spring/summer.
This would even be a cute cover-up over your bathing suit or to throw on over your denim shorts and tank-top for a BBQ. Although…knowing me, I will likely wind up spilling BBQ sauce on myself. Luckily, I have learned some tips on how to hand wash knits like this and other ways to spot treat and clean your special pieces!

Happy Weekend to you!! For this post I’m stepping out of my comfort zone and trying some new bright shades that I think will be perfect for Spring! I’m really picky when it comes to finding the perfect lipstick or lip gloss. I have pretty dry skin so I’m always looking for anything moisturizing and that includes my lip wear. I tested some colors and will include all the details below.
This color I’m wearing (below) is called: Nars “impossible red”. I thought it would be more shiny but it is a moisturizing matte finish. Coolest part. I did not notice any bleeding. Whoop whoop to that. I did notice a bit of transfer on my teeth but that is just from the initial application. The color lasted a couple hours and is a very rich, striking shade. I think it will be so pretty to wear with a spring dress…or even a white Tee shirt and jeans. Please note: The color I’m wearing in the last photo at the very bottom of the blog post is called: Nars “mineshaft”. That color is very similar to this shade but is more of a truer Red. What I love about these 2 colors is how vibrant they are. An easy way to brightened up your complexion.
This color I’m wearing below is called Bobbie Brown: Bright Pink 20. It’s a little bit more on the thick side, really shiny and gives your lips a plumped look. It comes in other pretty shades too. (here)
Peace and Love ♥
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a great weekend!
Happy Friday everyone! It’s been a long week…I’ve been home with kids – the stomach bug hit our house hard. It breaks my heart to see my babies not feeling well but I loved being able to cuddle with them all day to make them feel better <3.
So, it’s back to work today and I love this for a Friday outfit! This shirt can be tucked in Monday thru Thursday for a more structured office look…and untucked on Friday for a more casual feel. The shirt runs true to size but I sized up to get more of a slouchy fit. It’s super flattering, very comfortable and I love the price and the quality!
Style Tip: To transition into the weekend…pair with jeans and a tank and leave it unbuttoned or tie it around your waist.

This shirt immediately makes me think of warmer summer days! The tank is light gray and burnout…so it’s slightly see-through. It’s very soft and flowy and slightly oversized… so I would order your true size. I paired it with a lace bralette…it’s all about the details! Like I mentioned in my previous post, if you are afraid of wearing bralettes because you don’t think it will provide enough support…order a size up and wear your own strapless underneath! That’s my little trick to wearing bralette’s.
You can shop this tank here and here…and the rest of my post below.
Light gray is a great transitional color for spring! This cardigan runs true-to-size but is naturally oversized. I’m wearing the small here… but you can size up to get an extra billowy fit! The fabric is very soft and I love the two pockets. (I did notice it stretched a little bit with some wear.) Perfect to throw over jeans and a tee! You can shop this cardigan here and the rest of my look below…
So excited to share this transitional look with you today! It’s hard to tell in the photos but the cardigan’s a beautiful subtle mix of blush and a light gray knit. It runs true to size (I’m wearing a US 2 / UK 6) and it falls a little longer than mid-thigh…making it a great piece to layer over skinny jeans or leggings (i’m 5-7). I love the oversized pockets too! Btw: this is so random…but I was so excited to see this garment was made in Turkey! Not sure if I have talked about this before but I am 100% Turkish…both my parents were born there. They met in their mid 20’s, fell in love, moved to Santa Barbara, CA and that’s where I was born. I also have 2 younger brothers who were also born in Cali. Turkey is such a gorgeous place…we would love to go back to visit soon!
You can shop this cardigan here and the rest of my look below…
This one runs slightly large but I would still recommend ordering your true size. I love how soft it is and I love the color! The arms are slightly fitted and you can wear it so it covers both shoulders or you can shift it and wear it slightly off-the-shoulder. The length is great too…just covers the booty.

Style tip
Some of you have mentioned that you feel you can’t wear the bralette because it doesn’t offer enough support…
My trick is to order one size up and wear my own strapless bra underneath!
Today I’m teaming up with Banana Republic to show you some of my favorite New arrivals for Spring. I’d also like to get a little personal and share with you what moves me.
Having a business where I can help and inspire others…be creative…be able to work from home to spend time with my kids…and be true to myself, makes me feel so proud. I started my blog almost 3 years ago and, to be honest, I had no clue what a fashion blogger even was. It was just a creative outlet for me and I had no idea I would have so many amazing opportunities. In the beginning, there were so many times that I doubted myself and just wanted to stop… but my followers (you!), family and friends kept me going. Your continued support… positive comments…and sweet messages. I am where I am today because of you!
So, huge thanks to you! And now…on to the clothes!
I know I tend to stick to neutrals, but I was drawn to this blazer for so many reasons…the cut, the contrast, quality, and comfort. I also LOVE the fact that it doesn’t wrinkle…which makes it perfect for traveling! It not only has exterior pockets but an inside pocket as well. (Perfect for hiding my “Juicy Fruit” gum and lip gloss!) I feel like it’s classy enough to wear to the office or meetings but it’s also stylish enough to wear on a dinner date. One of my favorite ways to wear a blazer is like a cape! It makes it feel more edgy and casual. I styled this blazer with a casual Tee and wide leg cropped pants. I love the bit of flare you see when you move. Fyi: these pants run large.

xx,
*Thank you Banana Republic for sponsoring this post
It’s so easy to pick solid colors when it comes to casual throw-overs, but I love when I can find comfy mixed with a bit of personality. (Plus, you know I love roses!) This sweatshirt is soft, over-sized (runs VERY large), and also comes in another colorway. It’s perfect to throw over some ripped jeans or some leggings.
This is the first thing I changed into when I got through the door. And there is no shame in admitting that was at 3pm after I picked up the kids from school. We love wearing cozies around here…and I love when I can bring that aesthetic out of the house. From cardigans to jeans to sweaters and Tee’s, I have to have the clothing feel good on my skin. These jogger/loungers are super soft and run true to size. (fyi: the inside lining is soft but not as soft as the outside of the pants.) I threw them on with my favorite light weight sweatshirt…which is more like a long sleeved top. Also added these adorable fuzzy-wuzzy flip flops. These slippers are amazing! They are the perfect solution to warming up your feet after you get a pedi!! They run a little small. I ordered the 7 and the 8 and will be returning the 7 (7.5 is my normal shoe size). So I would recommend sizing up. Well, off to make dinner for the fam….and already have the perfect attire on to watch the season finale of the bachelor. Hope you had a great Monday!
Blush and grey tones are one of my favorite color combinations. I love the mix of warm and cool tones. Salty & Sweet♥. This grey cardigan runs true to size and is under $50…also comes in a pretty pink color. I have literally been living in these flats! They are so so so comfy, run true to size and also come in a pretty black suede/leather combo. You can shop these pieces here and here and the rest of my look below….
Thank you so much for stopping by today…I hope you had a great day!
Hi my friends! Just wanted to share this easy pull-over with you. It runs true to size but I ordered one size up for a slightly oversized fit. I also linked another similar in case this one sells out. (I noticed that the sizes were selling out quickly.) On another note…The family and I (my hubby, kids, my mama and dad too)…all went on a little road trip this weekend. We visited a little town in the middle of the desert called Ridgecrest for my sister in laws wedding. It was fun to let loose and dance with family. My kids are quite the little dancers these days and it was so cute to see them having a ball on the dance floor. I hope you had a great weekend!

If I was only able to pick one type of makeup to wear…it would have to be mascara. It makes tired eyes look more awake and enhances your beauty. (fyi: I wear mascara over my eye-lash extensions). I’m big on your eyelashes looking fuller vs looking longer. Too long is not a good look in my opinion. Today I’m sharing one of my most favorite beauty products ever!! I’ve been using it the past 10+ years. I like to call it my little beauty secret…and it helps with enhancing the fullness of your eyelashes!
This one was my favorite. As you can see in the picture above the bristles are very small. It’s more of a rubber material than a brush. I feel like I had the most control with this mascara. It doesn’t hurt that is has pretty gold packaging too.
I’m really big on Quality finds. I have to be honest that there are some pieces that I either order or are gifted from companies that never make it to the blog. I’m very particular with what I share with you. because at the end of the day I am styling and dressing my followers…and that is you♥ . I want you to LOVE what you wear. LOVE how it feels on. And LOVE how it makes you feel. Please note: Quality doesn’t have to be expensive. So now that you know more about my picky ways (lol) I’m excited to share this V-neck pullover with you! It is on sale today for 50% off!! The price is amazing. It was so soft out of the packaging. I ordered it in an XS and a S. I’m going to be returning the XS…because I prefer to have the arms a little longer/oversized. If you prefer otherwise I would order your true size. Or try both and play around with the one you like better. I almost always order 2 different sizes because every brand/designer has different sizing. You can shop this top here and I linked some similar options below…
Hope your case of the Mondayss was light. Thanks for stopping by!
