Hi Girls! I’ve rounded up some Spring Shoe favorites for you. I’m also including pieces you see in the picture above. I went for a “it’s Spring but cold” look. This camel top is actually a cashmere TEE from Pine Cashmere. And I layered my most favorite cardigan from Anthropologie over it. This cardigan is from last season. I wear it allllll the time. These shoes are the prettiest shade of a warm ivory-ish color. They run true to size and I didn’t need to break them in at all….yay! As I’ve mentioned before I have pretty sensitive feet…so I get really excited when I find a good pair!
One of my favorite things in life is a cozy home…and one thing you will always find in my home is a burning candle. I love the relaxed mood it creates with sight and smell. I’m so excited to be partnering with Kendra Scott to help launch their new Candle collection that launches today! From the packaging to the amazing scents I’m so excited to incorporate these candles into my new Spring home decor.
Today I’m sharing 2 of their new scents! The “Signature” and the “Rose Quartz”. Both smell amazing and I have been burning one of them in my office and the other in my kitchen. The “Signature scent” has a very soft, beautiful, clean smell that reminds me of being on vacation. The minute I light it I feel more relaxed. It has subtle notes of lily and blonde woods. The “Rose Quartz” smells so good too. It’s a little more feminine with a hint of vanilla, wild peony, raspberry and rose. If I had to pick a favorite it would be too hard to decide….but If I absolutely had too it would be the “Signature”.
I am in love with this gorgeous mother of pearl tray. It’s the perfect size and I love how it’s not only so pretty to look at but it’s also super functional. I have already used in my office, closet/vanity area and in the kitchen!
This acrylic box is perfect for storing pretty things. I used it here for cotton balls…but you can also use it as a jewelry box, match box, lipstick container, Q-tips…and so much more.
Use the beautiful candle lid as a mini tray to display some of your favorite jewelry pieces. (see above photo)
I’ve been loving all of Kendra Scotts new jewelry pieces too! The quality is A+ and I love that their gold is not too bright or orangey. It’s just the perfect soft shade. I’m linking some of my favorites for you below…you can also see the entire collection here. Perfect for Spring Summer!
BRING ON THE WINE, CHEESE & CRACKERS
This tray can easily go from room to room in your home. Here I styled the tray and Signature scented candle with wine, cheese, crackers and some of my favorite flowers in my kitchen. I’m sure it will soon make it’s way to my living room coffee table. I secretly wished I had one for each room in the house…lol.
When the kitchens all cleaned up close your candle with the prettiest gold lid.
Thank you all for stopping by today! Again here are the 2 scents that I absolutely love…here & here. These will also make the perfect gift for birthdays, Mother’s Day, Hostess gift…etc!
xx,
P.S. Thank you to Kendra Scott for sponsoring this post!
Happy first day of Spring! As you can probably tell I’m slightly obsessed with sweaters…but I’m really looking forward to longer, warmer days, maxi dresses and pool days. And btw…I do wear sweaters year round. Living in San Diego no matter how warm the days can get…it almost always gets chilly at night. Summer sweaters are actually my favorites because you can wear them with jeans, shorts and especially as a swim cover up. But enough about sweaters…today I rounded up some dresses and swim cover ups that will be perfect for your next vacation!
This maxi above is actually a swim cover up….one of my favorites from last season. I wear it over my swimmies or over nude undergarments when I want to wear it out as a maxi. It comes in a few colors. NOTE: The length is pretty long…but for the price it’s totally worth getting the bottom hemmed or the straps shortened. I’ll be bringing this on our upcoming vacations!
You can shop it here and see my other favorite maxi dress and swim cover ups below…
One of my favorite pieces of clothing in my wardrobe would have to be denim jeans! Once you find the perfect pair it makes getting ready in the morning so much easier. Game changer. I’m very picky when it comes to selecting jeans. They can’t be too stiff, too crunchy and they must have just the right amount of stretch. So when I find something sooo good…it makes me so happy to be able to share it with you all! I’m so honored to be teaming up with Joe’s Jeans today to share these amazing and comfy jeans and some of my favorite new arrivals! I’ll also be sharing some pieces I currently have in my shopping cart and how I’m getting “Spring Ready”…today on the blog!
These jeans run true to size and are high waisted. They are very soft and comfy and the perfect amount of stretch. I also love the distressing on the one knee. I styled these jeans with this beautiful blush sweatshirt, an ivory felt hat, ivory leather slides and tied everything together with a gold/white long pendant necklace.
I love how the material is very comfy but it looks a little dressy at the same time.
GROCERY STOP
After a quick work meeting I had to stop into the grocery store to run a few errands. These jeans worked out perfect because they are easy to dress up or down. And either way you go you will not be compromising comfort. One of my New Years goals was to not wait so last-minute for deadlines, occasions, party prep, etc. I will admit I work better under pressure but I also don’t want to be stressing out and would love to enjoy looking forward to an upcoming occasion. With that being said I was very motivated to start early with the kids easter baskets. I did get a little distracted in the flower (and wine) aisle though.
Stocking up early on the kids Easter Bunny treats.
My favorites are the dark chocolate Dove Eggs.
Shhhhh…don’t tell but I already opened the bag and have been sneaking them after they go to bed.
Frozen gluten-free pizza’s have been my jam lately. Especially the cauliflower crust ones.
They are so easy to just throw in the oven and I actually feel like I’m getting in some veggies with the crust…lol
Don’t forget the wine…
…or the bunny ears
Here are some pieces I currently have in my shopping cart…see below
Thank you so much for stopping by today!
Hope you have a great week and I wish you the best of luck with all your Spring time prep!
xx,
*A big thank you to Joe’s Jeans for sponsoring this post!
I’m so excited for this beautiful marriage! Nordstrom.com is now selling a beautiful selection of Anthropologie home items! I have literally looked at every single item and I’m obsessed. I have rounded up my top favorites for you! (see above).
Hi girls! I’ve been working on this post for weeks now and I’m so excited to finally share this. I love how skin care and makeup can instantly brighten your complexion, help you look more awake…and can help gain confidence. My ideal makeup look is to have fresh, glowing skin with a little bit of color. I like to look like I’m wearing very minimal makeup…nothing too overdone. I’ve partnered with Nordstrom and have been testing out and trying some new products that I am so excited to share with you. And guess what…one of the products is actually very popular with the guys. I’ll tell you more about that one below….
SHARING MY STEP BY STEP ROUTINE TO GLOWING SKIN
STEP 1
Apply Bobbie Brown’s nourishing milk and extra repair eye cream. After you wash your face, pat dry with a towel and apply the nourishing milk. It acts like a serum and leaves your skin feeling dewy and refreshed. This eye cream is my absolute favorite. I’ve been using it the past 3 years! The smell is really yummy. You’re going to laugh but it reminds me of fresh-cut sweet green beans…lol. I of course dab this all underneath my eyes…but use it the most on my lips. I use this in the morning and especially at night before bed.
STEP 2
Charlotte Tilbury “brightening youth glow” and the “unisex healthy glow“. I love the brightening youth glow and use it like a primer. It goes on very smooth and leaves a slight natural dewy look. After, I apply the unisex healthy glow. I’ll be honest, I was skeptical of this product before I used it. But I’m so happy I gave it a try! (btw…this is the product I was mentioning that is popular with the guys). It comes out of the tube like a white lotion…then as you start to rub it into your skin it changes into a beautiful natural tan color right before your eyes. It works with your own PH levels so the color will look different on each person. NOTE: this is not a self tanner. This is more of a tinted lotion. Washes off…will not stain.
STEP 3
FOUNDATION & MOISTURIZER. I’m super picky when it comes to my face moisturizer. I have dry skin, so I love any face cream that is extra moisturizing. This one is amazing. It’s by Bobbi Brown and it’s called “extra repair moisturizing balm” Not only does it smell like the spa but it gives your skin a dewy, soft look…that lasts! And bonus it has SPF in it too! I’m on my 5th plus jar of this magic cream. I’m also really happy with this “even better glow” foundation by Clinique. I mix it in with this cream and apply it with this Trish McEvoy brush. It’s nice that you have the control of how much coverage you want when you mix up your own tinted moisturizer formula.
STEP 4
UNDER EYE brightener. I’m addicted to this little gold tube. I love how it covers dark circles, blemishes, and imperfections but it is not heavy or cakey at ALL! I also use it to outline my lips. It gives the illusion that you have a poutier pout. It comes with a brush but I like to use the other end of the Trish McEvoy brush.
STEP 5
BLUSH AND BRONZER. This is another cocktail I like to mix up to my liking. I layer a little blush first, then a touch of bronzer then back to a little bit of blush. Blending and layering is a little trick I like to follow when applying any makeup to my cheeks.
So that is my make up routine that helps me achieve a natural, dewy, healthy glow. Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you found this post to be helpful. Would love to hear if you have any questions about any of the products listed above. Thanks again and have a great rest of your week!
xx,
P.S. A big thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post!
So many of you have been asking about this bracelet! I wear it all the time…and I always feel so bad to say “it’s out of stock”. Well….I found one!! I bought the last one…and would be so happy to give it away to one of you! I’m also including a $200 gift card to Nordstrom! I’m so incredibly thankful for you and always appreciate your support!! To enter see details on this instagram post (here). Thank you for following along and I wish you the best of luck!!
Winner will be announced on March 21st on my instagram, stories and blog. Best of luck!
The minute I get home…the cozies go on. And sometimes I even wear my cozies outside. Ok well a lot. My tip on wearing super casual clothing outside is to make sure it is semi-balanced. And by semi-balanced I mean you counteract the casual pieces with dressier ones. For example for this look…I would add a leather jacket, oversized watch, oversized sunnies…and either leather flat slides or some cute sneakers. This top is soooo soft and stretchy! I originally bought it to wear over yoga pants. I wished that the length was longer…so I sized up 2 sizes and bought the Medium. But if you don’t want extra length and would wear it tucked in like I did here….then your true size or one size up should be fine.
You can shop these pants and top here and here…and the rest below.
Happy weekend! I wanted to share 2 different ways that I’ll be wearing this top. I love how it can change by just making 2 minor tweaks. Above I’m wearing it with the sleeves all the way down and the top un-tucked. It’s a very soft fleece-like material. FYI…the color is more of a light heather grey. It actually looks a lot prettier in real life.
Below you will see that I pushed up the sleeves and did a front tuck with the top….giving this top a more styled-look.
You can shop this top here…and I linked some other similar options below…
Thanks for stopping by today…have a great weekend!
When it’s not Spring yet (but so close)…I wear jeans, transitional sweaters and slides. I’m just not ready for dresses and bathing suits yet. Will be sharing some of those pieces soon for your upcoming Spring/Summer Vacays! P.S. I’m wearing a size S in this top. YOu can shop it here and here and the rest of my post below!
Happy mid-week everyone! This is one of the coziest tops…been wearing it lots of lately. You can wear it tucked in or tucked out. I styled it here with more of a loose side tuck, oversized sunnies, peep toe booties, “channel” quilted handbag (not to be confused with Chanel…lol) and this layered gold necklace. Btw…just realized this necklace is sold out…but I found a very similar one here and it’s on Sale! I originally had on dark jeans but wanted to give this look a more Spring’y feel. So the white jeans definitely helped to freshen it up! You can shop this top here and this new beautiful handbag here. The rest of the look is linked below…
These sunglasses are the ones I reach to most! I love the gold detailing
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have a great day! HUgs!
Happy Saturday! It’s after midnight (on Friday night) so it really is Saturday…lol. I was watching the Olympics with the fam…and I totally fell asleep on my sofa (shocker). So after washing my face I got my second wind and I’m not sleepy…nooooooo. To be honest I have recently been in a work funk. Wasn’t feeling super inspired or that motivated. I feel like this happens to me every year after the holiday burnout. Well after accepting the fact that it’s normal to go through those feelings…I’ve been able to listen to a lot of podcasts, read some books, recharge and I’m feeling very inspired again!

To help get re-inspired I did a major Spring cleaning! I highly recommend everyone to do that at least once, twice, three times a year! I also made a quick trip to some of my favorite stores to get some new accessories, organizers and pretty display cases. I love this clear glass jewelry box (see above). It’s the perfect way to display your favorite pieces. I found this one at Homegoods but I linked some similar and other favorite options for you below. I’m also big on travel cases for jewelry. I found some really cute ones!
JEWELRY ORGANIZATION
I’m a perfume rookie considering the last bottle I bought was over 10 years ago. I just get so overwhelmed sniffing all the samples and bottles and coffee beans that I’ve avoided perfume shopping for a long time. Well recently I did a little online research before going into the store. And let’s be honest, buying a new fragrance online is nearly impossible. But I loved reading people’s comments & reviews which helped to narrow down some bottles I wanted to test out. I’m very pleased to say that I’m 95% sure I purchased some new fragrances that I will proudly wear!
Here are a couple of things I learned from my recent shopping trip.
1. don’t spray perfume on those paper cards to sample! It is not a true rep of the fragrance. I pretty much only smelled alcohol.
2. Spray the perfume on a kleenex to test or roll your sleeves way up and designate certain sections of your arm to test.
3. Give it a good 10-15 min for the fragrance to develop once you spray it on your skin.
4. Don’t forget about home fragrances! I picked up this bottle too. I have the candle in the same scent and I looooove it! I’ve been spraying a light mist over my pillows and throws.
I know this post is a little different from most of my fashion posts. Would you like to see more of these kinds of posts??? Please send me a quick yay or nay to my email… aylin@stylinbyaylin.com. I really value and appreciate your feedback!!
Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you have a great weekend!
So excited to share this post! Gallery walls are one of my favorite ways to accessorize a large wall space. The options for how to achieve this are endless…and overwhelming. That is why I wanted to share my simple approach to designing a gallery wall.
.
.
First you want to look at the space, wall height, wall color.etc. My walls are white (Benjamin Moore: Simply White) and I wanted to tie in our light wood flooring with the frames. First select your design layout and frames. This all depends on the look you are trying to achieve. Do you want symmetry, contrast, neutrals, etc. These frames are from Pottery Barn and are stunning! I love that the matting is so large and the framing is thin. Potterybarn.com has some great layout options and I included 3 of my favorites for you below.
.
Once I selected the frames online…I did a quick rough sketch on paper and ordered an extra 1-2 of each size just to have enough to play with once I started laying them out.
.
Once you have all of your frames on hand, lay them out on the floor…directly below the space! This will give you a good idea of what it will look like once you hang them on the wall. Always think about where and what you want your focal point to be. Once you select it let everything else fall into place around it. Then start playing around with different layouts. As you can see I selected a square frame to be my center/focal point.
FYI: I ended up changing my mind at least 3 times before deciding on the right fit.
Next you’ll want to decide what images you will be showcasing in your frames. Are they all going to be in color?, B&W?
You can also think outside the box and frame fabrics, wallpapers, artwork, etc.
Here I decided to keep the images in color and framed all of our recent photos from our family photo session.
Make sure to use a leveler to make sure all the frames look straight and aligned.
I also used the width of this leveler to get the same distance and spacing between each frame.
This wall is also a great conversational spot when our friends and family come over to visit.
This shelf is just adjacent to the gallery wall. We love this piece because it holds not only our keys but we keep our favorite notes, cards, & keepsakes on it. This beautiful wooden heart is one of my favorite accessories in our home. It’s a gift from my Aunt Verda…& we think of her every time we see it. She not only has great taste but has the most beautiful home in Michigan. We can’t wait to go visit soon!
Today I’m sharing some new SALE pieces! But first want to talk about this look above. I love dressing casual, comfy…but while keeping a little style in the mix. I paired this cardigan (currently on sale!) with a grey thermal and my favorite grey workout leggings. You can shop cardigan here, thermal here and these leggings here…rest of this look is linked below…

Rounding up some of my favorite sweatshirts on today’s post! If you also go to my previous post it is also featuring another favorite. You can shop this exact top here and the round-up below….
Happy weekend girls!! I have to say that I really do love sweatshirts. So when I find one that has a little something extra it makes me so happy. I will be honest that I did give a double take when I looked at the price tag. I debated for about 1/2 an hour and through lunch. But I thought let me atleast take it home and see if I wear it??? Well I’ve already worn it 5 times. And the color is just gorgeous!! You can shop this sweatshirt here and below…
I love this new thermal! It is one of the softest tops I own. They didn’t have an xs in stock so I bought the S and I’m happy with the one size up. Although I think the xs would have also fit good. I paired it here with these comfy skinny jeans from Anthropologie and these comfy ballet flats. You can shop this thermal here and the rest of this post below…
Hi Girls! This is the first non-Wintery look that’s hitting the blog in quite some time. Although I did keep it semi-relatable with a cozy sweater. It’s crazy how different the weather is from one state to another. I’m really crushing on this new bag from Anthropologie. It has a strap that you can tuck inside or take off, comfy to hold and the shape is simply gorgeous. It also comes in a few other colors and a larger size (see here). These wedges are comfy out of the box. I’m wearing my true size but I’m curious what 1/2 a size down would feel like. They do feel the tiny bit big. These pants are super comfy too and perfect to transition into Spring. Also this bag has been getting a lot of attention after I posted it on one of my more recent instagram photos (see here). You can shop the bag here and I found another similar one that I love too….Here!
